Recently, I was appointed to be Ambassador to the eUS. I made contact with high ranking officials in the United States Government. I look forward to a bright future of cooperation across the pond.

The United States are members of the Circle of Trust(CoT)alliance. This allies them with nations such as Russia, Belgium, and Mexico. A more complete list of alliance members can be found at: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/alliances/2.

In the eUS, there are five government-owned military units. These units occasionally receive donations from private citizens. These military units are as follows: Flight Training, Special Forces, Air Force, Rogue Squadron, and Ultramarines.

The internal political situation within the eUS is a complicated one. But in short, there is a constant threat of political takeover(PTO). The American Freedom Alliance, which took 28% in May's Presidential elections, is a publicly announced PTO movement. American officials suspect that a movement able to mobilize on such a scale, target a major nation, and of such a size that it is sponsored by an international government.

In order to combat the PTO effort, the large political parties of the eUS are operating under Anti-takeover Unity conditions. An example of these conditions in effect is Then-Candidate Artela receiving support from 10 different political parties. President Artela is optimistic that the PTO will fail.

When I spoke with Secretary of State NewAzazel, he outlined some goals the administration had for the next month. He outlined his foreign affairs goals as weakening the domestic PTO, become closer to CoT allies, strengthen their relationship with the Brazilian, Russian, and Albanian governments, and furthering American interests.

As part of her election manifesto, President Artela promised a reorganization of the Department of War. The concerns many eUS citizens have regarding the DoW is lack of communication between agencies on multiple issues. President Artela has already begun efforts to correct these issues. In addition, Artela has launched a program known as Operation Funstuffz, an effort to bring games and more community involvement to the citizens of the United States.

I spoke with Secretary of the Interior Othere regarding the functions of his Department. He described the DoI as a resource distributing body that also deals with the flow of information. The DoI functions based on donations from private citizens, similar to our very own NHS. With rising tension on the international stage, President Artela would not describe the situation between the Circle of Trust and The World Ours as a conflict. When asked about eUS and eUK relations, Secretary of State NewAzazel stated that as long as His Majesty’s United Kingdom chooses to align with nations such as Poland and Serbia, that he was not optimistic about the improvement of relations.

In summation, the United States faces a trying time with its internal politics. President Artela has plans to make the US government more efficient and enhance the experience of eMerican citizens. This includes reforms to the Department of War. The internal welfare infrastructure is maintained by the Department of the Interior, under the magnificent leadership of Secretary Othere. Contrary to popular British belief, it’s not so bad across the pond.
