El 24 de febrero de 2022 escaló el conflicto rl entre Rusia y Ucrania. Como gobierno de eChile lamentamos mucho el alcance del sufrimiento de las personas directamente afectadas por los acontecimientos en el Este de Europa. Pero nos abstenemos de comentar políticamente la situación en Ucrania como lo hacemos en otras circunstancias también, no olvidamos que en el juego eRusia es un buen aliado nuestro.

Sin embargo muchos de nosotros, los jugadores de Erepublik, se ven afectados emocionalmente y/o físicamente por el curso bélico, lo que fue honorado por las grandes alianzas del juego con un cese de fuego hasta el 15 de marzo de 2022.

El gobierno de eSerbia en una publicación el día 24-02-2022 pidió parar todas las guerras en curso en contra eUcrania. Consideramos tal medida, parar las guerras en el juego unicamente solo a favor de eUcrania, no solamente poco útil, ya que favorece estratégicamente al lado de Asteria, si no también como un truco propagandístico queriendo agitando sentimientos anti rusos en Erepublik, en fin una vista que fue compartido por el SG de Asteria.



Entonces se formó un grupo de negociación entre las alianzas Asteria/Hydra y Code y se acordó lo siguiente:

Se van a parar todas las guerras entre las Alianzas Code por un lado y Asteria/Hydra por el otro hasta el día 15 de marzo de 2022. El día 11 de marzo se va a evaluar si se prolonga el cese de fuego o no.



El acuerdo implica
1 que todos los países de Code y Asteria/Hydra que se encuentran en guerra con países de la otra alianza deben proponer leyes de paz para parar las guerras en curso.

2 que no se propongan nuevas leyes de NE y/o DoW entre las alianzas Code por un lado y Asteria/Hydra por el otro.
3 que todas las regiones que ocupa una alianza en regiones originales de países de la otra alianza se mantienen en manos del país ocupante.

4 que cualquier RW en una región ocupada en principio debe ser sofocado, pero el país ocupante está libre de decidir si libera o no la región ocupada. En el país ocupado debe dar órdenes para luchar para el ocupante.

Ahora cómo evaluamos el acuerdo por nuestro lado? Claramente el acuerdo favorece a Asteria/Hydra ya que no tienen que dar la cara en el campo de batalla contra los países de Code y permite a los países de Asteria/Hydra a farmear sin fin y llenar su inmensa cantidad de multi cuentas con recursos.

Sin embargo nuestra alianza Code quiere honrar la situación de las personas afectadas por el actual conflicto y como gesto de buena voluntad no solo transigió con el acuerdo sino también se retiró de algunas regiones originales de eUcrania que habíamos ocupado en días anteriores.

On February 24, 2022, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine escalated. As the government of eChile, we deeply regret the extent of the suffering of the people directly affected by the events in Eastern Europe. But we refrain from commenting politically on the situation in Ukraine as we do in other circumstances too, we do not forget that in the game eRussia is a good ally of ours.

However many of us Erepublik players are emotionally and/or physically affected by the ongoing war, which was honored by the game's great alliances with a ceasefire until March 15, 2022.

The eSerbian government in a publication on 02-24-2022 asked to stop all ongoing wars against Ukraine. We consider such a measure, stopping the wars in the game only in favor of eUkraine, not only unhelpful, since it strategically favors the side of Asteria, but also as a propaganda trick wanting to stir up anti-Russian sentiments in Erepublik, in short, a view which was shared by the Asteria SG.



A negotiation group was then formed between the Asteria/Hydra and Code alliances and the following was agreed upon:

All wars between the Code Alliances on the one hand and Asteria/Hydra on the other will be stopped until March 15, 2022. On March 11, it will be evaluated whether the ceasefire will be prolonged or not.



The agreement implicates
1 that all the countries of Code and Asteria/Hydra that are at war with countries of the other alliance must propose peace laws to stop the ongoing wars.

2 that no new NE and/or DoW laws be proposed between the alliances Code on one side and Asteria/Hydra on the other.

3 that all regions occupied by one alliance in original regions of countries of the other alliance remain in the hands of the occupying country.

4 that any RW in an occupied region should in principle be quelled, but the occupying country is free to decide whether or not to liberate the occupied region. In the occupied country you must give orders to fight for the occupier.

Now how do we evaluate the deal on our side? Clearly the deal favors Asteria/Hydra as they don't have to face the Code countries on the battlefield and it allows the Asteria/Hydra countries to farm endlessly and fill their vast amount of multi-accounts with resources.

However, our Code alliance wants to honor the situation of the people affected by the current conflict and as a gesture of goodwill not only compromised with the agreement but also withdrew from some original regions of eUkraine that we had occupied in previous days.
