[MoFA] A world in chaos

Good evening world,

This past week has been insane in terms of foreign affairs. Serbian money theft, Spanish alliance romping, Slovenian charter making, country alliance creating, country alliance destroying, voter club re-birthing, and PTO-dispersing have all gone down in such a short amount of time.



What can we start with?

I suppose we should start easy. The infamous Voter's Club of eRepublik returns! In ever country you will find an article that announces the glorious return of the Voter's Club. A great example that cash rules everything around us, the VC has been instrumental in getting an article to the Top 5 of a country. In Switzerland, low media activity makes this a small problem, but in big countries large amounts of votes are needed for an article to reach the Top 5. Next up, Spanish drama/alliance creation/alliance destruction

Spain and TWO are in trouble. Due to internal turmoil in Serbia and TWO, many nations of TWO are upset and doing things that are detrimental to the health of their alliance. Spain wants to MPP whoever they want, Slovenia won't hear of it, Serbia won't deal with Spain, it is all a huge mess.

The Serbian President, Hanibal LA, past leader of the PTO on the USA, has stolen money from Serbian orgs, and the Serbian country is not happy. Hanibal LA is see going crazy here:

Hanibal has even spoken of abandoning the PTO on the USA, which would be a huge benefit to restoring order in the world, and removing Pizza from the toothpick throne he calls 'power'. The Serbian's will soon oust him from power. The most powerful country in the game ousting their CP really elucidates something about Serbia. With all this nonsense, it is curious what the deal with Hanibal LA is. A traitor to all countries, you wonder, whose side is he on? Maybe just his own. Only time will tell.




Let's get the details about this rockin new alliance!

Imperium is a possible name for a new alliance with members ranging across the eWorld. This alliance draws on old friendships to bind together the countries it includes. It could include anywhere from 3-7 countries, all revolving around the CUB (another alliance name), aka Croatia USA and Brazil. Chile declined joining this alliance, partly because of it's such deep roots in CoT as a founding member, along with its close ties to the other founding member BG (not so much Switzerland).

A new alliance would shuffle the cards which might plotted with two scenarios.

1. USA + BRA + CRO + CHINA. It would be a partnership with proCoT vocation, given their MPP, and anti Serbia, due to the presence of USA. The Serbian rivalry with USA and Croatia TWO drag against the appetites of the new group, while the former pro EDEN TWO further hinder them maintain TWO idea is part of war held against CoT. That scenario does not fix the problem TWO: where to paste?.

1. USA + BRA + CRO + CHINA + Spoland. The output would trigger TWO Spain from Argentina entering this partnership and probably that of Colombia, depending on the degree of opposition from Venezuela.

A TWO without Poland and Spain and Argentina within the CoT become opponent without any nuance, and the new alliance. In this case, Poland would be the factor that could compensate for the damage to make TWO more competitive e-world. This scenario allows TWO paste against all CoT and against the new alliance, particularly in Europe against Poland.



Back to me:

The break-off of the US from CoT would be very significant. The reckless move of attacking Serbia head on after Hanibal's Serbian spies were able to PTO a Top 5 USA party caused many CoT members to despise the United States membership in CoT. It would be a welcome change for some members, a bitter break for others, but it will unequivocally happen, whether via Imperium or some other alliance. The one-sided war between CoT and TWO was bound to change eventually, and I know it is going to change soon for one or both alliances. Where will Switzerland be? Who can truly predict in such a convoluted world of eIdeas and eProblems, but my bet is on CoT for a long time. That's what we involved in foreign affairs do.
