[MoF] Economic indicators of Netherlands #2
Ministerie van Economische Zak
Greetings, citizens of Netherlands,
ever since start of April, the government is weekly collecting various economic indicators, which are relevant for long-term economy decisions. We have released an article 14 days ago, where data were influenced by the in-game event. After things settled down, we will now revisit these indicators, and pinpoint some of the most obvious changes in the previous 14 days.
We currently collect the information about following indicators:
Amount of active eNL citizens
Amount of active eRep citizens
Amount of eNL Aerial and Ground kills
Lowest price of Q2 Food in eNL/world
Lowest price of Q7 weapons in eNL/world
Lowest price of Q1 Houses in eNL/world
DO cost for Ground and Aerial
Average Salary in eNL/eIRN
World highest Net salary
Approximate gain from activated Q1 house
Gold value on Monetary Market
Full details, together with graphical representation, can be found in the Finance Sheet. Some of the interesting details collected from the last article (Day 4,179) until now are noted below:
The amount of active Dutch citizens keeps decreasing (it is now 158 citizens )
The price of Q2 Food in Netherlands remains quite similar (currently 0.63 cc per Q2 Food), however we have seen general increase in world-wide lowest food prices
The price of Q7 tanks in the world has grown by 2% (it is now around 96 cc)
While the growth of price of tanks slowed down, the price of Q1 house has grown by 9% (it is now above 7 100 cc)
Dutch average salary actually decreased in recent weeks by 0.5% (it is now 1014.84 cc)
World highest net salary however keeps growing - it grew by 7% during the last two weeks (it is now 1613.7 cc)
Gold value on Monetary Market keeps sky-rocketing - last time, it grew by 20%, however now, the growth is even higher - 26% during the last two weeks (it is now 890 cc).
If you have idea about other indicators, or you consider some of them not important, please do let us know in the comment section.

Can we expect free houses again, this term?
Indeed - just few hours ago, we did our 2nd random sample checking (and it is good to see majority of recipients use the subsidy as intended). We still need to flesh out a few details though, to make sure the money and houses bought with them are used efficiently.
I like the idea behind the Q2 subsidy but I believe we should just offer everyone 1 Q1 house for free every month. The money can ofc be used to pay for a Q2 house as well. But that is up to the player to either buy Q1 or Q2.

in reality (and not just in eNL) that number is false. remove the first number there and you would be basically at the legit number in eNL.
Yes, I am aware, too bad admins are not. Either way that admin-given number is also important, due to cost of Airstrike for example 😃
I planned to make a long term survey about the number of active citizens in countries of this size to see the effect of different government policies on player retention. In this the active citizens would had been those who fought in a week (so data would had been their number per week). But finally I didn't do because probably no meaningful conclusion could be drawn from this, or at least no additional info to that we already know.
