[MoE] Training Contracts - 50% and 90% Discounts

Hello eIreland,
We're in the last hours of an Admin offer for training contracts. The Admin are offering:
A 50% Discount for 25 gold.
OR
A 90% Discount for 53 gold
No Discounts on Free
So: first things first, if you only use your free training facilities, then DON'T BUY. As you can see below 50% of free is free, and 10% of free is still free.
If you do regularly train with gold, then let's keep going.
The calculations in this article were originally done in THIS article by John TG of Israel. Kudos to him for his article - vote it!
Here we can see how these contracts effect training costs:
When Is It Worth It?
Assuming that you have the same training routine each day (spend the same amount of gold in the same facilities), the following scenarios would make it worth it to buy a contract:
Use ONLY your fourth training ground - > BUY 50% CONTRACT
Use second AND fourth training ground - > BUY 50% CONTRACT
Use third AND fourth training ground - > BUY 90% CONTRACT
Use all training grounds - > BUY 90% CONTRACT
In all other cases, it would actually be cheaper not to buy a contract because the discount would not make up for the contracts cost over the 30 days.
An Example Calculation
If you were going to use only the fourth training groun

Without a Contract:
30 days x 1.79 gold = 53.7 gold
With 50% Contract
(30 days x 0.895 gold) + 25 gold (contract cost) = 51.85 gold
With 90% Contract
(30 days x 0.179 gold) +53 gold = 58.37 gold
In this case the 90% contract ends up costing you more than what you'd pay for the same training without a contract.
58.37 > 53.7 SO MUCH FOR A DISCOUNT!

Thanks for the info
Originally I thought that SS medals would make up the difference as I saw argued some places... but actually.. you'd be getting those if you were using those facilities without contracts anyway... so correct me if I'm wrong but that wouldn't change things.
It seems to me that generally these contracts are a bad deal for most people.

It all depends on which quality centres you own though. Otherwise,great work Ian
It took me about three nanoseconds to work out it wouldn't be worth it for me as I only use the free and the climbing wall! Good article, though.

Ya but your training centres will give you the same strength regardless of if you're using a contract.
So it's a question purely of cost. The quality of centres you own has no effect on whether its worth the deal or not. I can't see how it would, and I thought at first it would but I think I was wrong.
strength <> money is what OJ is trying to say. In short steal the treasury rotten when nobody is looking use the money to gain more strength than your competitors and get more BH medals thereby getting more BH gold. You must remember Ian that most of the ICA 's old faithful has stolen the treasury rotten and now is plucking the rewards of it...It should not be eIreland it should be eGangster cause those are the players getting all of the gold whilst we try and work out stuff like this.
I downgraded 3 weapon factories we anyway get shite for our weapons anymore the level 4 training I downgraded to Q1 and upgraded my level 1 to Q4 hooray thereby giving me 5 extra strenght a day and a guaranteed 5 gold each +- 12 days

What about the return in gold from SS medals?
If you were using your Q4 fourth training ground and getting 40 strength/day that's 40*30 = 1200 strength or 4.8 SS medals.
You can either get no contracts and pay 53.7 gold for that
buy the 50% discount and pay 51.85 gold
or buy the 90% contract and pay 58.37 gold
You'll get 4.8 SS medals regardless.
so lets round that to 5 SS medals and say you'll get 25 gold from them (5X5)
so then it looks like this:
no contracts would cost 28.7 gold
50% contract would cost 26.85 gold
90% contract would cost 33.37 gold
