There has been a lull in media activity recently. Its obvious and sad, it makes me feel down that the media module of the game is inactive and dead. I know I sound foolish repeating my self but honestly we need this to burst with life like it did a few weeks ago. In order to resurrect the Media and newspapers I am launching a media comp. It would be more accurate to say launching, but due to the number of entries I have received so far (zero) I thought it wise to relaunch with more detail and wider range of topics on which to write.

The enterprise is a MoE, DoE (Ministry of Education, Department of Media) initiative to promote healthy media and political activity. Anyone wishing to participate may write on ONE of the following topics.

Times in which a government has failed society
NOTE: Both electronic and real world situations are acceptable.

The prizes will be taken from my personal funds and will be:

1st Place: 10gld
2nd Place: 1000cc
3rd Place: 500cc

Note the prizes are for both topics and will be judged on quality. That is the topics will not receive separate prizes.

The competition will run from Day 2900-2907. That gives you all a week and two days to write and enter the competition. Please try your best.

The topic is designed to controversial, and is meant to spark debate in both comments PMs and in chats. I am hoping that it will help boost both the media and political modules in the game. Feel free to express any political opinion without any fear, should any slander/bullying occur in regards to any other player YOU WILL BE REPORTED.

NOTE: The comp is only open to eIndian citizens, but feel free to do this in any country you wish.

I wish to emphasise the purpose of this tournament:
-To promote media and political activity
-Increase in game communication
-Give a backdrop for which players to converse upon

Anyone wishing to donate to assist with prize enlargement or to assist with judging is welcome to (contact me first!). Please do participate, as at the moment the news feed has only 3 articles in it, including this one. So to up activity and discussion for those outside the IST or with busy lives lets get the media going again!
