Dear Belgian citizens,

Today is elections for the party president. We’ll tell you more about party and party elections. We used pictures from the Pink Panther party and UU party.



How to get into the party?

To join a party access the 'Community' tab from the main menu and clicking on the 'My Party' link. Here you have two options: join or create a party.





If you click "Join a Party" you will see all of the parties in your country. You can only join a party in your citizenship country. However, if you have active citizenship application pending, you're not able to join party.

What you can see in the party page?

Once you join a party, or just browsing through them, you will see the following information.
- Avatar and name of the party
- Name of the party president
- Country of the party
- Link to the party's discussion forum
- Party titled members, their titles, avatars and names


- Link to the party's wiki page and information about the party
- Number of members
- Political orientation (Economical and Social)
- See All Members (Click that and you’ll see Party member)


- Join/Resign - If you are not a member of the party, you will see a "Join" button. Click this to Join. If you are a member, you will see "Resign", click the button to resign from the party.





Party elections
How to run for party president
To run for party president:
- You must be a member of the party
- Sign up by 23:59 in the 14th of the month
- Have an experience level of at least 16 (200 Experience points)

On the 15th of the month citizens can vote for Party president on party elections.
Citizens need to be members of a party in order to vote in party elections and, of course, they can only vote for the leadership of their own party.
They can access the voting area from the homepage of their party by clicking on the “Vote now“.

If there are no candidates for the party president election, the sitting party president retains their position.

For a citizen to vote, they have to:
- access the Elections screen and
- click the "Vote" button next to their choice.

Voting process

On the 15th of the month citizens with an Adult Title (Citizens with strength over 50) can vote for their Party president.

On the 16th of the month the following takes place:
- At 00:00 (eRepublik time) voting ends for the Party elections.
- Between 00:00-06:00, results are displayed as Intermediate Results, as Admin verifies that Multi-accounts were not used.
- The previous Party president remains President of the Party until 06:00.
- At 06:00, the most voted candidate in the party becomes the Party president.
- On the elections page, the results will be changed to Official results.



Who is the party president?

A Party President is a citizen elected by his or her fellow party members to lead the political party. Party President elections are held on the 15th of every month.

What can party presidents do?
- Edit the party details
- Assign Titles to the Party Members
- Select who will run for Congress from party. (See Manage congress candidates)
- Select who will represent party in the presidential elections. (See Country President Elections)
- Resign from this position

What happens if the party president is banned, dies, or resigns?
The member with the highest amount of experience points will replace him
If there are no party members with high enough experience to become the party president, the party is suspended.
