[MoD]Proper Shield Drain Etiquette

Day 2,118, 22:28 Published in Japan Japan by William of Edenbury

As you all know we've been performing a good number of Resistance Wars in the Portuguese occupied regions of our Homeland. Recently this was dubbed Operation "Shielded Suzumebachi". A Suzumebachi is a rather fierce Asian hornet for those of you about to go to your search engine.

This strategy is rather new and I'm sure many of you don't know what we are doing or how to maximize your damage. Here is a quick run down of proper Shield Draining etiquette.

Step One
Attack at the very beginning of a battle. You will be fighting directly against the shield itself as the enemy players haven't started adding their influence yet.

Step Two
Avoid fighting when the enemy players have started to seriously add their damage to the battle. Our objective is the shield, we have no interest in winning the battles at this time.

Step Three
Do not use up your supplies unnecessarily. As I said, we have no interest in winning the battles at this time. Do not run through all your money and supplies quite yet. The real fireworks are set to start later.

Why Are we doing this?
Many of you might be wondering why we are fighting Resistance wars we do not intend to win. This is because of the new bonus that the Admins gave out during one of the tournaments. That being the Shield Bonus.

You can find the Shield bonus stats of a country on the country page under the military tab. Once there you will notice that each country has a certain number of Shield points remaining out of their original Maximum number. That is because a country's shields automatically deploy when a region that they hold is under attack. Resistance Wars also count as "attacks" as far as the shields are concerned. Anyways, during a battle, the shield gets hit and loses some of its points. These lost points are gone permanently. Thus it becomes clear that constant Resistance Wars will steadily chip away at a country's shields until they are in tatters.

And that friends is why we are doing this. Now remember your etiquette and get out there and fight!
