[MoD] NE on Germany + National Shield
No more than 7 hours into the new term and Plato has provided the new CP with his first headache of his term... the ‘National Shield’ competition.
Immediately after the result was obvious, the new MoD team and the Country President (Carlini
After some talks we have decided to launch an attack on Germany. The Natural Enemy vote is now up for congress to vote on check it out HERE.
We want to make sure that citizens really pushing during this competition are rewarded with True Patriot medals and a sense of pride!
Having a war of our own, i.e: Fighting for UK in a UK battle means any damage you contribute will be added to your ‘True Patriot’ Tally > More Medals > More Gold. “National Shield” was announced at the beginning of day 2086. Read more about the new Plato challenge HERE. But what is important to understand, this Tournament requires every single citizen to fight and complete their own targets. If we fight collectively then we all benefit massively as a group, so fight hard!
For those asking this is a real war during the competition with an exit strategy at the end of the competition.
The important parts of this new tournament:
- Last 7 days, starting 2087
- Meet milestones and get rewards, like more strength + gold
- Top 50 citizens with the most damage, will receive a badge to stand as a permanent recognition of their achievement
- Everyone needs to fight, fulfilling your own target means collectively means the eUK will be more heavily rewarded
- eUK wins a stronger defence shield if we perform well as a country

what about "war" for getting goodies ?

UK in principle has good allies, it is just that the allies are most often not very focused. They are not at it most of the time. So what you need in this case is about 100.000 hard cash so to remind allies it is this new mechanism, you put in the cash and this magic flash light goes off. UK should have this prepared.

A real war? With people getting properly deaded and stuff? :/ don't like the sound of that.
I understand the need to get in as early as possible, as it's a time limited comp'. I'll just be crossing my fingers that not too many countries single us out for similar treatment, once we are engaged with Germany.
