[MoD] end of July, Slovakia's war declaration and orders day 2,078

Dear Danes, dear allies,

July is drawing to an end, the current term is almost over, and this is presumably the last issue of Danish MoD orders in this newspaper - for now -, since I'm going to return to Germany in a few hours in order to run for the post of the Country President. However, that shouldn't prevent us from having a look at the most recent events.
A few days ago, Denmark needed to get wiped again in order to prevent congressional elections due to a too high PTO threat. However, we meanwhile managed to get a region, Nordjylland, back - good job everyone. 🙂 The United Kingdom was pretty busy with fighting against Indonesia, the country they airstriked recently - however, they've been kicked out of Indonesia by now.
After we managed to liberate Nordjylland, Denmark was NEd by both Slovakia and Germany. Slovakia apparently still has the intention to attack us and to intrude into our union. However, the German Country President Freiheitskaempfer launched an attack on Nordjylland, so it has not fallen to Slovakia.
Whereas we haven't had any hostile intention towards Slovakia until they airstriked Scandinavia, they seem to hold a grudge against us, leading to them NEing us every time our states share a border with each other; a counter-NE has been proposed.
In order to be on the safe side, we decided to start a Resistance War in Midtjylland, preventing both Slovakia and the United Kingdom to intrude into our union. However, we'll still defend ourselves against Slovakia as soon as they launch their attack on Nordjylland. It appears they won't give up on their tries to disturb our union until we kick them out of Scandinavia.

As already mentioned in the previous article, eRepublik has introduced so called Combat Orders. Combat Orders allow commanders of Military Units to basically pay people for their damage. In order to both try this system out and give our union a treat, there are some Combat Orders set for anyone fighting for Denmark in Midtjylland. 🙂
