hey Germarkians, friends & allies,

after a decent period of silence, it's about time the Danish Ministry of Defense shows presence again and informs you about recent events.

At the end of the previous CP term already, a NAP with Asgard has been signe😛 [CP] NAP with Asgard/[CP] NAP with Asgard [EN].
The NAP includes Germark (so both Denmark and Germany) and all members of Asgard, so as long as the NAP lasts, we don't have to fear any hostile attack/s from countries bordering us.

However, as we in Denmark gained a huge national shield as a reward in the National Shield Tournament #2 and currently own four regions, we're facing another, but rather tiny problem:
If we had congress elections with four regions, we'd get a congress with 40 seats - way too many. The maximum so far has been 20, and safely getting a congress twice as huge doesn't seem possible right now.

That means we need to deplete our own shield - if we need to lose regions shortly before the elections, a working shield could be the nail in our PTO coffin. Germany already NEd and also attacked us.

Once we're wiped off the map, our shield will be depleted. As long as we have some shield capacity left, we'll start the first five rounds in each campaign with a huge damage bonus against Germany. In round six, there'll possibly still be some damage left - nothing worth mentioning, though.

So far, the campaign is going better than expected; we lost the first two rounds of D2-4 to Germany. Initially, we expected a ping-pong war.

Now on today's order: Primary aim is to have Germany win. That doesn't mean you can't fight for Denmark, but please refrain from doing so until round five or six. If Germany has a good lead, such as 50:5, and our shield capacity for the current campaign is already depleted, feel free to fight for Denmark. We just need to take care to not jeopardize a German victory.
