Die Serie beginnt heute mit dem Natural Enemy



1. Was ist der Natural Enemy?

Der Natural Enemy (deutsch: natürlicher Feind, Erzfeind, kurz: NE) ist im Grunde eine vereinfachte und vor allem kostenlose Form der Kriegserklärung. Er wird vom Präsidenten oder einem Kongressmitglied vorgeschlagen und muss mit einer ⅔-Mehrheit durch den Kongress bestätigt werden. Wird er vom Kongress angenommen hat das Land anschließend einen Krieg mit dem Natural Enemy, und für den Anfang auch die Initiative in diesem. Wird er vom Kongress abgelehnt passiert - nichts.


2. Warum Natural Enemy anstatt einer Kriegserklärung?

Im Gegensatz zur normalen Kriegserklärung (die nur vom Präsidenten vorgeschlagen werden kann) ist der Natural Enemy kostenlos. Allerdings kann nur alle sieben Tage ein neuer NE beschlossen werden. Zum Vergleich: eine reguläre Kriegserklärung kostet 200 Gold + 10% mal Anzahl der Spieler über Level 5 im angreifenden Land. Das wären, würde beispielsweise Deutschland den Krieg erklären, mehr als 300 Gold.
Außerdem bringt der NE einen bonus von 10% auf die Schadenspunkte in Kämpfen gegen diesen Feind.
Zusätzlich benötigen einige Missionen einen aktiven NE um abgeschlossen werden zu können.


3. Wann endet der Natural Enemy?

Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten den NE zu beenden:
Nach sieben Tagen kann der Kongress ein anderes Land zum NE bestimmen, oder den NE abwählen (zu beachten ist, dass bei der dieser Variante nur der NE abgewählt/gewechselt wird, jedoch nicht automatisch auch der Krieg endet. Hierfür ist ein Peace Proposal (Friendensvertrag) zwischen beiden Ländern notwendig. Dieses muss von einem der beiden Präsidenten vorgeschlagen werden und von den Kongressen beider Länder bestätigt werden.) Außerdem endet der NE automatisch, sobald die sich bekriegenden Länder keine Grenze zueinander mehr haben.

1. What is the Natural Enemy

The Natural Enemy (short: NE) is basically an easier and cheaper way to declare a war. It can be proposed by the country president or a congressman and needs a ⅔ majority in congress to pass. When it is accepted by the congress the country has an open war with its Natural Enemy and for the beginning also the initiative. When it doesn’t pass the congress - nothing happens.


2. Why Natural Enemy instead of a Declaration of War?

In contrast to a normal Declaration of War (which can be proposed by the county president only) the Natural Enemy is for free. However, only one Natural Enemy can be passed every seven days. For comparison: a normal Declaration of War costs 200 Gold + 10% * number of players > level 5 in the attacking country, which would mean more then 300 Gold if Germany wants to attack.
Furthermore the NE brings a bonus of 10% to the influence made in battles against that enemy.
Also, an active NE is needed to finish some missions.


3. When does the Natural Enemy end?

There are two ways to end the Natural Enemy:
After seven days congress can set another country as NE, or just unset the current NE (note: when using this way only the NE ends, not the war. To end the war a a peace proposal is necessary, which needs to be proposed by one of the country presidents and then has to pass both congresses). Also the NE ends when the countries in war do not share a border any more.
