ElGorro: Whats your RL age, RL citizenship and occupation?
Niemand: I am 53 years old, Dutch and work voluntary in ICT
ElGorro: Tell us something noone ingame knows about you from real life.
Niemand: It isn't there except some trivial things. Many real life friends still play eRepublik (mostly 2-clicking) and for them I have no secrets. OK about trivial things, I only miss one issue from Perry Rhodan and I do love to eat peppers of all colors.
ElGorro: Can you explain why and when you left the Netherlands?
Niemand: soon after United Netherlands collapsed due to tensions and distrust (the Romanian group liberating some eBelgian regions only triggered it) I left.
ElGorro: Can you tell why you have chosen for the UK?
Niemand: Many ingame friends already were in eUK, English is not difficult for me and I decided to follow them. After a short time in the Royal Navy I quit eRepublik because V1 for about a year. After a meeting in Brussels with some eRepublik friends I reactivated my account and helped someone win the CP elections in eBelgium. As also eBelgium had lot of nasty people active on their forums soon I went again to eUK to be active there.
ElGorro: Can you recommend the UK to people who are planning to leave the Netherlands? And why?
Niemand: eUK is a nation with many different groups. when your English is OK, you can find several things to do there: politics, fun, role playing, discussions and fighting. Never a dull moment, much activity also non erepublik linked.
ElGorro: At the moment you have Polish citizenship. Can you explain why?
Niemand: Sadly also in eUK many nasty people were active and sent me insulting and abusive personal messages.
So I left for ePoland to be out of the eUK politics. It worked, so I played this game further. I concentrate on helping some citizens and contribute to TWO. Because game rules changed I could be active in Legion, a nice and strong eUK MU.
ElGorro: How do you think the Netherlands remembers you?
Niemand: it depends whether they know Cocoamok http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/817932 (banned because I was caught logging in for several people when they couldn't because they were too much occupied in real life for some time (a Travian habit, but forbidden in eRepublik). The one not active for years now on place 10 on the portal with 2569 contributions. Cocoamok was the one that got many non-Dutch speakers active in eNL in beta times. Writing in English was not done in eNL media in that time. The political landscape was changed drastically, from a mighty I&W party that got 85% of the votes to a multi party landscape where coalitions needed to be made.
After being banned I got this account from a friend that stopped playing because many of us left. I think some know Niemand as a foreigner that pops up with comments in the eNetherlands media, trying to give more background information and to bring respect between enemies.
ElGorro: What should happen for you to move back to the Netherlands?
Niemand: A union with eBegium and a pleasant atmosphere.
ElGorro: Can you share a memory from the time you were active in the Netherlands?
Niemand: Once eNetherlands was strong in economics. We were able to build a lot of Q5 hospitals for many nations in our alliance and we worked strongly together with eFrance because our nation was without wood (without wood you couldn't build hospitals). In that time you needed specialization in economic skills. We had a strong team of specialized builders working each day. A project all from different political sides worked together.
Sadly with different rules the admins destroyed such difficult but profitable projects.
ElGorro: Do you have a message for the Dutch community?
Niemand: Be polite and have fun. Focus on that and you will have the most out of this lousy game with a big community.

I thought you quit because you got banned together with some other Belgians because Luuklag and myself reported some for election fraud?
I must say there have never been more fun times than the semi civil war between I&W and BP + LSD though.

The semi civil war you liked made many people leaving UNL and eNL and part of them left the game. I am glad at least you liked it.
Woman, Belgian, I get these things confused. I know you're Dutch though, it's just poorly worded.
That semi civil war went on just fine for months until the group RW'd Flanders, up to that point the only BP members that left the game were cheaters that got banned for election fraud.
It is a long time ago, so I do not remember names that well. However the hostility in the UNL community was very big, people lost interest to play although some survived some time in 2-clicking mode. bicky for example http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1442838
Not only real life Belgians stopped also real life Dutch, people that didn't cheat. There was not a nation, neither a community to be involved due to the animosity.
I do not remember that any BP members got banned because of electoral fraud to be honest... Are you refering to the I&W members who thought that BP members were multies or even robots ? Our strenght was the result of the cruel inequality that prevailed back in time in the UNL between the two members of our Union, nothing more.
I actually got started under Cocoamok, not entirely true because I was part of Dutch Three Star in the 2 months before it fell apart. But Cocoamok's LSD was my first real party.

It were good old times and many nice people are still playing. I am glad LSD (and DTS) are not forgotten.

I'm not sure he'll be able to find either at the moment...

In a small society as eNL and eBE this is hard to achieve...
