Hello,citizens of eIreland,

As most of you may have noticed,my name is on the presidential candidates list.
Now,this is no coincidence,place holding or anything of sorts. I'm really intending to run for CP in October.

Introduction

Most of you older players/citizens of eIreland(been here for more than a year and a half) should be familiar with me and what I accomplished during my time in eIreland. I've been here since February/March of 2010 and always worked towards the betterment of eIreland. Newer players probably know me because of the many food/tank donation articles I've done. There was probably around 200k+ health/energy given out and around a hundred of weps probably. I'm currently a Captain in The Malcontents and the Party President of Independent Voices

Military

I consider this to be one of the most important aspects of any eCountry in erep. Therefore,I'll work towards the improvement of the Irish Army. My government will be working on getting more activity and more organization in the IA. I notice there wasn't enough suppliers in our military (people couldn't be supplied at all times) and that's why my MoD team and I will be working on hiring more active people for the supply officer role.

Some may raise a question which was asked and debated over quite a lot in the last couple of days - To centralize the eIrish military sytem or not to do that. In general,I am against this idea,but I would settle for a compromise. If the Commanders of all the military units in eIreland agreed to unite all MUs under IA,I'd support that. Each MU could have its own regiment(s) in the IA and their own custom avatars.They would have some level of independence and the IA would be stronger. That's a situation which would be ideal. The Bootcamp will continue with it's work as it has so far - We'll continue to make our new citizens stronger,more educated and experienced. National Strikes will be held once a week.

Foreign Affairs

This is also a field that's very important to the functioning of any eCountry. Having good,helpful and faithful allies is key in this game and Ireland managed to have that since joining Eden. Therefore,if I'm elected my MoFA (or MoFA team) and I will make sure to further our cooperation with our friends in Eden and make sure we're always there to help them out,just like they've been most of the time here for us. We'll make sure we're always coordinating with Eden prios,just like we always had so far. (Except if there's a real war crisis in our own country,ofcourse). I think we still need Eden and Eden needs us,so I'll be strongly supporting staying in Eden if there'll be any debate over this (alliance) issue

Community

What's a country without a good,stable and friendly community ? MoC will continue with the good work from the past month and organize raffles,golf tournaments,lotteries. If a need arises for a refferendum of sorts,ofcourse our Ministers of Community will be there to handle that too. I also intend to put the Department of Immigration under the Ministry of Community,just as it once was. There's probably going to be 2 MoCs,just like there are now,but the Head of Department of Immigration will be joining them .

Finance

DreadedEstate will keep the tank project running of course and (at Kurgan's great pleasure I'm sure) I intend for this Ministy to post a detailed report on what was spent,where was spent and where each IEP went. We'll also seek new ways of improving our current financial status. But that's not really my field of expertise so I'll leave my MoF to fill you in more about that if I get elected

General politics

Lastly,I have to talk about politics and I won't say much here. a Congress PM will be organized and a party council PM that will include all PPs who could then debate over all the issues that bother them. I'll leave this section with a quote of an ex-eIrish CP...

Mirek's scandal lol

Yes,there was a dark moment in my eStory aswell. We're all people,there's noone who's never done some stupid mistake. I am not really obliged to tell you this story,but I will anyways. Because I myself value honesty both in RL and in erep,and I hope others here value it too and because I think that a lot of citizens aren't even familiar with it.

So,around March (or a bit later) of 2011 I was VP and had access to various orgs. And as I had been angered by actions of certain individuals (and groups) I've done a stupid mistake of letting my frustrations out on a country org. I've taken 20g in gold and iep from that org and kept it on my account,I didn't want to spend any of it. And as I was reported to the admins the gold was immediately transfered back to the org and I also got fined by the admins 10g. So,this wasn't really a clasical ''theft'' lol since no gold or iep were spent and the country actually had a profit out of it.And in a sign of good will 27 more gold were donated to that org a few days later. But a year and a half have passed since then and I've always helped eIreland in that year and a half,even when I was in the ePhilippines or in eCanada. My food donation projects are just one of many proofs of that

And besides,as one wise guy once said '' the past is the past'' And I agree with that. The past is the past,and what happened this long ago should stay in the past.
I've gone through a lot since then,even being a Captain and a Supply Officer of the TCO for around 9 months,which was a great experience. I've earned the trust of everyone in TCO (even Eric Last 😛) and I'm grateful to them for what they did for me .
