REFERENDUM TO JOIN LUNA
I am a big proponent of joining the Luna brotherhood.
I hesitate to refer to it as an alliance because it’s purpose and style is different from what we are accustomed to.
Yes it has small beginnings, but I predict a very productive future. There are many small countries that would benefit from such a brotherhood. Currently we are subject to the whims of the Power Nations. That cannot continue. I suggest that Switzerland join while Luna is still in it's embryonic stage so that we can influence it's future together.
Luna is an independent country defensive alliance. It's aims, according to the Official Introduction to LUNA:
• To build a community;
• Prevent Political Take-Overs;
• To defend alliance members.
It aims to succeed where such alliances as ONE and Sol both failed, as "ineffective 'neutral' alliances".
By the way, members of Luna have already fought in our last two RW’s.
I suggest that you join the Luna forum and learn about the organization before you decide which way to vote. It is an important decision and your vote matters.

I think one time Swiss should look her own interest and join EDEN/ONE,there is no way in LUNA,because,if Swiss want to be on map,it must be EDEN/ONE/TERRA,Luna won't help you,it doesn't have capacity...
I agree with og,.. I dont see the point of it. Lets be honest,almost all members are wiped.so they cant help you. And about PTO none of these contries cant defend their selves,
Yes but we have been betrayed by large alliances before, and as sure as hell we won't have a priority in any of those conglomerates in the future. I don't honestly think that our membership in Luna will make a significant change, but it's better than nothing.

This are taskes from LUNA,
Impossible,first one is only possible,other two are not.
Most members are occupied, and they can't defend each other.
And most members have PTO threat and i don't know how are they planing to prevent it.
Anyway with this alliance we are not giving anything and we are not reciving anything.So it is pointless....but thats only my opinion
they can defend alliance members. doesn't mean they have to succeed.😁

I really doubt we could help each other in an effective way and don't see the point of joining an alliance/brotherhood for that reason.

Luna or not, we need to get our country back, no matter how we do it.
What if doesn't work out? Well, It won't be the end of the world and certainly not the end of eSwitzerland!

- Unless we managed to pull ourselves up to the top 5, there’s no way we could join ONE.
- If we joined EDEN/Terra…well…diplomatic relations with Slovenia and Macedonia would break down = occupation ad vitam aeternam.
Luna is a mutual aid platform established for defensive purposes only (proceeding mainly through RWs). Small nations can join regardless of their affinities … it might turn out to be of little help…so what?
The question is: should Swiss soldiers help weak nations to survive, rather than fighting randomly for superpowers? I say yes…as a matter of principle…

This wouldn't hurt any ongoing negotiations with Macedonia or Slovenia, because I honestly doubt they care if we're in Luna or not.
At the very least, we'll have a stronger community than before. And that's not something that should be understated.

@Vincent de Clayes Palys: Wiki page http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Luna says that India, Israel, Malaysia and Philippines are members, and that Austria, South Africa Taiwan and U R Gay are thinking about it. Oddly enough Switzerland is listed as both member and observer. };-D
