Most of you don't know that I was appointed MoFA a couple of days ago. In that time I have spoken at great length to the CP's of Slovenia and FYROM. Slovenia's CP SmoothZiga is VERY sympathetic to our plight. He has been active discussing remedies with FYROMM's CP Strumjanin but FYROMM is preoccupied with bigger fish to fry at the moment. Strumjanin is unfortunately a man of very few words, but he has told me that he is interested in finding a solution.

Neither country is trying to destroy Switzerland or wipe her from the map.

Now, I remind you that I have only been acting on Switzerland's behalf for two days and I ask you for a little more patience. I will promise you this: I will make all of my efforts transparent. I have no interest in surprises or secret negotiations. That takes far too much energy and is ultimately self-defeating.

You all know that current game mechanics are against ALL small countries. We are not a great source of RL money for Plato. Admin has become greedy. Their only concern is Euro's. They cannot see the long term effect this will have on the game just yet. I have written several topics on this subject in the eRepublik Forum and they have been locked or deleted by admin. They are not willing to address any issue that they feel undermines their avarice.

Now I know that a lot of you have Resistance Wars on your mind. Now is NOT the time. These battles are far too expensive to engage in on a whim... and we have proven to ourselves, just last week, that we are in no position to win.
I'm sorry... but the truth is the truth.

Allow me some time to ascertain the situation diplomatically. Diplomacy is our best and only hope at this particular moment. I am not saying that this will always be so, but for now it is the way things are. I am hoping to find a long term remedy to our recurrent expatriation... not just for this singular instance.




On another note, we are hosting a Congress REFERENDUM on the eHelvetia forum. It is in regards to establishing a charter with LUNA. This is something that I have wanted to do for some time now. They were very helpful in our last RW, but Luna is still small. But I promise you that it will grow. Essentially it is a brotherhood of smaller countries all trying to stay alive while navigating the new game mechanics. I feel that it is essential that we join now so that we can be instrumental in it's development. THERE IS NOTHING TO LOSE and there is a good chance that THERE IS MUCH TO WIN.

WE NEED AMBASSADORS. PLEASE VOLUNTEER.
