We thank you for reading our first article! If you have never heard of #Mercenaries, we are the SIXTH largest channel on the Rizon IRC Network. We have on average between 300-400 users in our channel at one time.

The point of #Mercenaries is to connect the countries and military units that need assistance in one (or many) of their battles with the people who need tanks or food and want to get experience and rank. In a nutshell, you fight for the country that needs help, and they in turn give you tanks and/or food to do it. It works well for the supplier and the person getting supplies!

When you connect to the channel, you will see a list of rules, and then a list of channels supplying tanks. For instance, the topic will state "#defence (4k+ E/T)". This means #defence is supplying weapons, but you must have a minimum of 4k strength and it is for Eden/Terra members only. It is a very easy and efficient system we use.

We also have a blacklist of users. These are people who have stolen supplies from the supplier. They do this by receiving supplies and not fighting for the supplier, or by receiving supplies and fighting for the opposing country. If you do this, expect to be added to the blacklist and permanently banned from #Mercenaries. You can view our blacklist here: http://bit.ly/MerceBL.

You should expect to see more articles come from us, and our next article will be a contest for an undetermined amount of weapons and food. It will be a large amount though, so it'll be worth your time 😉.
