I don't see what is fresh. A IRC strike, the promise of maybe an AS and handing out Q1 houses (something many MU's around the world already do), are not exactly groundbreaking policies...

Why on earth do we have to fight for IDA? Who decided the eUK was the police force of the eWorld?

It is not fighting for IDA. IDA fights for countries that are on the verge of total wipeout (from the game). The dictatorship module has made it legal to steal treasury very easily and also PTO nations. Lots of them have already left the game because of this.

The criminal force of the world will be a threat to every country on erep. We are not the police force. We help the disenfranchised who seek our help. Would you like it if after years of work your country and its identity is destroyed by some foreigner with multimoney, VISA and their pack of thieves?

The country that has asks our support will open up an MU for players to join during the coup. It will be populated by members all around the world which will fight to help the country keep their sovereignty

Can we have more details on your aims for foreign affairs as some of the things you've said in congress mails are rather alarming ranging from suicidal to downright idiotic.

I have no intention of doing anything without consulting my MoFA or MoD first. If there is time I will also put any decision before congress. Don't judge someone purely on suggestions they make in a brainstorming session. If everyone is afraid to speak freely then any good suggestions they have won't be said out of fear. It is only by group discussion that flaws you had not seen in ideas can be spotted. Also how is renting a sand region from Germany "suicidal to downright idiotic"? 🙂

There is a typo in there, the second line should read 'take it via regular means'. I do agree with you it would be incredibly difficult to hold off Greek forces coming to take it back. Maybe Greece or their allies would try and come after us if we did this, but we do need to stay militarily active as a country and find a suitable target. Hopefully Sunday strike night would help this, but that won't make up for no action.

why do we need a sand region though? We have more than enough bonuses as it is, there is no need to pay through the nose or worse waste our AS chasing more.

Also can we have a semblance of an actual foreign policy? What you have written so far has just been fluff like 'I'll discuss with congress'

I'm looking at the Congress PM now and for all of them he said negotiate with the countries to get that bonus, he didn't say invade, you seem to be confused. The word "Argentina" hasn't been mentioned in Congress PMs as far as my CTRL+F shows. There are lots of countries with sand bonus so we wouldn't need to airstrike Greece or Argentina, you are getting confused with granite bonus which Max didn't mention.

I'm also not sure how you've come to the conclusion Max will "spend all our money on CO's".

Your ctrl + f must be broken because Argentina is clearly written but not by Maz was Gega so I stand corrected on that.

Ah no, you are either in the other Congress PM or talking about an old one, your name isn't on the Congress PM I'm in (yay! my ctrl+f isn't broken!). We've had the same message from Max but he hasn't said anything about Argentina. He does clearly say take the region off them, quite clearly in the same sentence where he used the words "negotiate" and "and", it seems pretty obvious he meant we could negotiate with either as you still get a bonus from a region you took by airstrike. I see no suggestion that we actually invade them unless there are some crazy things going on in the other Congress PM. You seem to have completely misunderstood what he said...

I asked in brainstorming what are the possibilities of renting a region from Germany (where they have 1 sand region) or the USA (where they have 5 sand regions). I never suggested ASing Greece, I said how about ASing Saudi (if Greece were not there)? I have never mentioned Argentina or Turkey so I'm not sure how to respond to these claims.

We have our own IDA funds. He said he will set COs for your citizens - UK citizens and not to blow it on other countries. Chances are that IDA will set COs for the countries we help in a very unselfish way.

And IDA is a very open community, we don't force you to fight for someone. It is upto an individual whether he wishes to fight for a benevolent cause.

The upside to supporting IDA is that you can improve your FA, be influential in the world arena and also have some goodwill and make new friends.

I disagree with the idea of using our very expensive AS for a lulz attack on poland that probably not even land... I also disagree with trying to official make ourselves a part of the IDA. If players personally wish to be a part of the group that's on them.

I will not be doing a lulz airstrike on Poland. I am not going to make the UK part of IDA, but I will set CO only for UK citizens so our players can claim the benefits of supporting fair play worldwide. I agree we should not join any organisation, but rather support the cause.

Should the eUK really be setting COs in other countries revolution/coups? We as a government should steer well clear of being involved

I wanted to touch on your idea for supporting new players with a Q1 House.

I fully support such an idea, however what will the criteria be?
I was recently rejected for a Training Ground loan.. when its the new players that need the help the most.

New players should be putting all of their money into TGs, not houses to be able to fight more. Older players can more than afford the cost.

I find it really surprising that this is described as some revolutionary manifesto with fresh ideas- a lot of this has been done before, the rest is either nondescriptive filler or its naive. I have nothing against you Max, but I think you have jumped into running for CP far too quickly after coming back from inactivity.

which is one is better, 70xp/week or 84xp with 63.5 cc/week? of course 70xp.

about resources. I agree with you that it will be meaningless. getting 10%/20% bonus for house companies won't make any profit at all. we don't need to waste our resource and money for that.

We don't interfere in Internal Affairs of any country. People here have wrong idea about IDA. I will write an article here and spell it out 🙂

I totally agree with the IDA thing, we should be helping their cause.

But I don't agree that an AS must happen in your term, it doesn't. We should be saving money and have an AS when we really need it, not for sh*ts and giggles.
