I am writing this letter in response to your recent actions, and because of them, today, Day 1047 of the New World, eGreeks have begun to mass quit in protest. The following people have already sent tickets requesting their accounts to be deleted due to the name "Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) (sic)":

In a previous eRepublik insider, you stated that a nation will be added under the Internationally recognized named as “The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”.
After your decision to name the nation “The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” the eGreeks took the high road, not commenting in articles, posting “troll articles”, or even replying to the massive amount of hate speech, spam and vulgarity that was aimed at us.
Apparently, this was a mistake on our behalf.
Since then, you have reversed your decision and are now intent on naming the nation the “Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)(sic)”. By doing so, you have rewarded the endless amount of trolling, racism, vulgarity and flaming that we have seen against the eGreeks, the eGreek nation and the eGreek race in its entirety.
You have rewarded the bad manners of a vocal few against a quiet many.
As you all know, there is a Greek region of Macedonia, and by naming a country “Republic of Macedonia (sic)” you are implying that the Greek region of Macedonia is occupied by a foreign aggressor.
You are implying that Greece and therefore eGreece has no right to Macedonia, or eMacedonia, and that it has been illegally annexed by Greece and/or eGreece.
You are implying that the people of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and the inhabitants of Macedonia share the same race and/or culture and/or language and/or religion and/or lineage.
Furthermore, you have decided to create three regions for the ”Republic of Macedonia (sic)", naming two of the regions “Eastern Macedonia (sic)” and “Western Macedonia (sic)”. Thus, you are implying that the Greek region of Macedonia has something to do with these other two “regions”.
In fact, the regions you have created are not based on any real world equivalents and are actually figments of your imaginations as the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is actually split into eight regions and not three. As the regions are figments of your imagination, you could have easily named them anything you wanted them to be. For example, you could have used real world region names of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia such as Polog, Skopje, Vardar, Pelagonia, Northeastern, Eastern, Southeastern or Southwestern.
Note that none of the real region names of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia include the word “Macedonia”.
Alternatively, you could also have easily selected a city, a geographic region or a landmark of some type to name the regions after.
However any regional name must not and should not include the word Macedonia, unless it includes the prequalifier "Former Yugoslav Republic of".
In the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia there are no regions named "East Macedonia", "Eastern Macedonia", "West Macedonia" or "Western Macedonia" yet in Greece there are regions named "East Macedonia" and "West Macedonia". You may rename the regions "Eastern (FYROM)" and "Western (FYROM)" which is acceptable and suitable, because in real life there is a region named "Eastern".
Furthermore, the regions of "East Macedonia" and "West Macedonia" are actually real world regions of Greece.
In direct contrast to the above, Greece has regions with the names "Eastern Macedonia" and "Western Macedonia" and each of them form one of the 13 peripheries (regions) of Greece. Unexplainably you have not added the regions with this name to the nation to which they belong, eGreece, but added them to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. This to me is inexcusable.

You can also review the name of Greece’s peripheries (regions) in a MAP from the UNITED NATIONS. You will clearly see that Western Macedonia and Eastern Macedonia And Thrace are regions of Greece.

… Decides to admit the State whose application is contained in document A/47/876-S/25147 to membership in the United Nations, this State being provisionally referred to for all purposes within the United Nations as "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" pending settlement of the difference that has arisen over the name of the State.

By accepting entry into the United Nations and all other International Organizations, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia voluntarily agreed to this name pending a final solution. It accepted and agreed to this name without any subversion and without being under any distress or external influences.
The only name that has been temporarily and universally accepted by all participants in this dispute is the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
Agreeing to anything other then the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, for example the “Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)(sic)” or “Republic of Vardarska(sic)” (or any equivalent), constitutes you taking one or the either side in this dispute, and is in fact, by definition an act of racism against the other.
Once again, I would like to restate that it is universally accepted as the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) pending a final and just agreement by both sides, and not the "Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)(sic)".
In absolute clarity, and from any angle, the naming “Republic of Macedonia (sic)" lacks any type of International Recognition, at any world body, at any level.
In conclusion,
Your actions imply that there is a distinction between Macedonians and Greeks, while they are one and the same.
Your actions imply that the region in Greece and in eGreece, of Macedonia and eMacedonia respectively, are regions which should and ought to be part of the “Republic of Macedonia (sic)"
Your actions are in direct convergence with all Internationally accepted parameters.
I hope your actions are a result of neglect and/or your misinformation regarding this issue and that you will work immediately to correct this error, and reverse the bigotry and racism that all Greeks and eGreeks have been subjected to.
In summation, to us, the current status is unacceptable, and we must therefore carefully consider if can continue to willingly partake in any enterprise which minimalizes our national heritage or which subjugates our national pride.

Agreeing to anything other then the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, for example the “Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)(sic)” or “Republic of Vardarska(sic)” (or any equivalent), constitutes you taking one or the either side in this dispute, and is in fact, by definition an act of racism against the other.
Once again, I would like to restate that it is universally accepted as the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) pending a final and just agreement by both sides, and not the "Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)(sic)".
In absolute clarity, and from any angle, the naming “Republic of Macedonia (sic)" lacks any type of International Recognition, at any world body, at any level.
In conclusion,
Your actions imply that there is a distinction between Macedonians and Greeks, while they are one and the same.
Your actions imply that the region in Greece and in eGreece, of Macedonia and eMacedonia respectively, are regions which should and ought to be part of the “Republic of Macedonia (sic)"
Your actions are in direct convergence with all Internationally accepted parameters.
I hope your actions are a result of neglect and/or your misinformation regarding this issue and that you will work immediately to correct this error, and reverse the bigotry and racism that all Greeks and eGreeks have been subjected to.
In summation, to us, the current status is unacceptable, and we must therefore carefully consider if can continue to willingly partake in any enterprise which minimalizes our national heritage or which subjugates our national pride.

Thе name "Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)" is not good for the greeks ?
Well it is not good for us too. Why ? Obviously, because it contains the reference again (in the brackets).
So this supposed to be some kind of middle solution that should keep both sides pleased. Although we Macedonians are not pleased with that solution (at least not me), most of us are still going to stay, unlike greeks.
I may not be as active as I used to be and will not dedicate much time to this game, because of this. But I'm going to stay to help my friends.
If admins are naming countries according to UN references, then why Macedonia should be exception ?
If Macedonia is added as F.Y.R.O.M, then admins should rename other countries according to their UN names too:
