^.^ Look Who's Running for Orange Party President ^.^

Up until this morning, I had not ever thought about running for Orange Party President. Why? Well, I kind of figured that Geno Garon would run it forever. So, when he asked me to run this morning, I was shocked and surprised that he was a) giving up the party's presidency; b) asking me to take his place. This party was once a thriving part of eJapan, and it has since fallen off the radar and is dying a rather slow death. Just because it has fallen out of favor, does not mean that it cannot once again be great.

I remember when it was created by Emerick and Geno, so it has always had a warm place in my heart. I would love to resurrect the notion of this political party as a source of fun and serious business--which I would describe as two equally important parts to any successful political party and citizen career in eRepublik. It's the way I have played this game for over a year, and it is the way I will continue to play this game until my citizen perishes from malnutrition.

Over the past few months, I have struggled to stay interested in this game. Many of the things and people I loved have died, and up until recently, I have lacked the passion to do anything about it. However, I feel that saving parties like the Orange Party from dying off completely is worth the fight. In this new less dichotomous world, I think providing people with political choice will become paramount. As a former party president, I bring with me the experience and knowledge to help revamp the Orange Party and foster its growth once again.
