The unparalleled Roman Legions safeguarded the Empire for hundreds of years. The ESO Legion strives to honour this grand tradition – by defeating the eUK’s opponents through a combination of pride, organisation, and shared power. In Legion we build together, grow together, and most importantly, we fight together!



Legion Weekly Update

Our dear American derps have been exterminated from the UK. I'm sure they are off somewhere congratulating themselves for a job well done.



In the meantime, you will note that we now have some lovely pink Polish neighbours as guests, which will certainly prove to be helpful in the near future. You may have noticed that Belgium and Hungary are at war, but do not be alarmed! This is just a training war agreed upon by both sides.

We are currently attempting to land on the French shores, and we are experiencing great success. French regions are now occupied by the Hungarians, Slovenians, and soon enough the UK. Germany is basically wiped, and Spain has returned a few regions from the USA and has essentially wiped out Portugal once again. All in all, a good week.

Youth of the Nation

The UK has been experiencing a constantly increasing number of new players joining. As of writing, we are sitting on a population of 5918 people!
Now our challenge is to keep them occupied and foster their growth so that they may grow into the fighting force and leadership of tomorrow 😃

To any new players reading this - Message me if you have need of any food, tips, support, or advice. I will gladly help you in any way that I can, and I strongly encourage you to make friends here. It is vastly more fun when we play as a group! Join a party, join a MU, and chat/learn as much as possible!

Legion Food Drive

So why not demonstrate the collective generosity and power of Legion? This week I will be asking all of the established Legion players to make some donations of food. This will be distributed to newer players in next week's article, regardless of their MU, party affiliation, etc. Any young UKer that asks will receive our support!

As referenced in a previous article, weekly Legion will be allotting 5 x 0.19 Gold training to members that hit their daily 25 kills. These members are also drawn at random to ensure that everyone gets an equal shot. This week the winners are:

Other Rewards

I thought I would draw your attention to other ways to receive free weapons. Currently all soldiers can receive 4 Q6 tanks per day by posting on the official MoD paper. Legion won the last forum-based challenge, making us 3/3!

If you are a member of the ESO party, the lovely Metalmicky has graciously offered to give free weapons if you defeat 50+ enemies in one day! You can contact him here, or post on the ESO forums and he will reward you. A big thumbs up to Metalmicky for his continuous support!





Legion Award Recognition

In recognition of their service to Legion, particularly in the graphics department, I am awarding Miniman_7 and Diakun the Gold Order of Merit! For Diakun, this is an upgrade from the Bronze Order. For Mini, this is direct elevation to Gold.

Why are they deserving?
Diakun designed and created the Legion avatars and a lot of the graphics that we have been using. He's very talented, and his work has helped us create a unique and appealing identity. Diakun has also worked tirelessly as a supplier, and continues to create avatars for people upon request. Miniman is a top-notch recruiter, dedicated supplier, and has also been extremely active in generating new avatars for new players. In recognition of these talents and these services, you are both hereby entitled to wear these lovely avatars that were co-designed by Diakun and Rodney McKay \o/
