Join the new world

The election is closing in on us and thus it is time to release the final article, if I haven’t convinced you yet, hopefully this will, I am the only sensible candidate in this running. I’m the only one that will bring our country back on track after our latest mishaps. This article will cover Finance, Foreign Affairs and the announcement of my Cabinet.



Finance
As most of us already know, we was, during this term, robbed and lost over 970 000 GBP and about 1200 gold. Because of this, we have once again found ourselves in a bad position and we need to save for the future. Hopefully this will never happen again and we can’t go around thinking it will. With a strong Ministry of Finance and efficient fiscal management, I believe we can build a stable bank and leave the days of BigAnts wrong doings behind us.

Training Ground Loans
Improving our young ones is the most important way to keep our nation afloat. Clearly the training ground loans is a good scheme to do just this, and I will not even consider removing it. Rather would I want to make it even more public, show the public what we really do and how many that achieve TG loans at each promotion.

Monetary Market Fishing
Monetary market fishing is known to be the main income along with taxes for our dear nation, which is surely not looking to change. My main goal with the Ministry of Finance is to achieve a record of strong, sound and consistent fiscal management, not only during my possible term but thereafter, as a long term economic plan. Here once again, I want to provide weekly reports on how our MM fishing is going and for it to be published in articles.

Spending Transparency
Clearly I have made it quite obvious that I want everything finance to be out in the public for all of you to see so far. But, I would like to also have all of the government spending to be recorded and published each week for all of you to see where our money goes.



Foreign Affairs
Clearly we are in a good situation, we’re in a good alliance, we have amazing allies both in and outside of Sirius and we are currently not threatened to be attacked. Although, another month of a questionable President would do nothing but harm our relations with our allies. I am not that questionable President, I already have good relations with all of our allies and I will keep it that way! We can not go around electing “Fun” candidates or at some point our good international reputation will go down the drain.
Now, electing me will not only keep us on track with our current foreign relations, but will also improve those relations that can seem to be military only. I will have my Foreign Affairs team to get more involved with our allies, both Sirius and non-Sirius, through communication, cooperation and articles.

Now, how would I go about doing this? You’d think Ambassadors would be the way I’d go, but no, not this time. I’ve tried Ambassadors over and over again, this time the Foreign Affairs department will have to this on their own, mainly the deputies. The Ambassadorial programme takes too much time to maintain and I believe deputies along with possible mentees would be able to handle this.

Cabinet
So I have gotten quite an amount of applications and it hasn’t always been easy to choose the very best person for the job. Anyway, here’s the list of people I believe is the right one for each position.

Vice Country President John Rupert Miranda
One of my first mentors and has been helping a tonne during my campaign, he’s somewhat of an oldfag, but he’s got his heart in the right place and won’t disappoint anyone!

Minister of Foreign Affairs Count Drakula
He is an ex Country President of the United Kingdom, several times Minister of Defence and also the Military Commander of Sirius. He’s also a very good friend of mine that has always been there for me and helped out, therefore I believe this is the absolute right choice.

Minister of Defence N W G & Akarin Weston
I believe that Akarin has shown great potential during this month and not giving him another shot would be stupid. Other than being the current Minister of Defence, Akarin doesn’t have a lot of experience.

This will not be a problem since N W G has great experience and current insight in what’s going on. Having him helping Akarin achieve his potential is as good as it can get.

Minister of Finance Huey George
I’m not sure how many months he has been the Minister of Finance so far, but I do believe he has been doing a good job and would like to let him stay on. Should be a clear choice for most of the candidates this term.

Minister of Home Affairs iAdrastos
I know from former terms that he is a great guy and willing to go all the way to get something done. What really won me over is the ideas he brought forward in his application. I’m sure he will be a great Minister of Home Affairs.

Minister of Education Madelina de Melrose
Madelina is a great person, who has put a lot of time and effort in to the eBrit University and I believe she deserves the role as the Minister of Education. Although as I want the Ministry of Education to do more than just writing articles, one Minister isn’t enough and I'm only waiting on confirmation from another one.



Seeing as I have not decided on any deputies yet, since I want the Ministers to be a part of that, I still encourage every single one of our fellow UKers to apply for a spot in the cabinet and I will do my best to fit as many of you as possible in, no matter what party you belong to. I also promote you bringing ideas to the table, and I have therefore included a small box where you can leave any ideas or tips you may have.
