[Kaiser] The harsh winter looms...

Day 920, 16:32 Published in Austria Montenegro by Kaiser Alex

We face a rough time in eAustria, with taxes sky high and food scarce, most honest men cant afford a decent living. The PTOers however, are swimming in cash, after all, their loot gained from the treasury they can afford to live the high life with Q5 food and all the extra luxuries.

True eAustrians however, cannot barely afford Q4 or Q5 bread! Most can find no employment, and the country is in ruins and war-torn.

Yet, a certain spirit is in the air, that spirit that always resonates in eAustria in times of Hardship, hope, and patriotism. We all group together in times like this, and we form a beautiful thing, a working unit that loves eAustria, through times of good and bad.

This uniquely Austrian spirit is what i can feel in the air today. I have a LOT of hope for the future, and this is why for the second time in my life in eAustria...

I am running for president.

Yes, it surely is a shocking prospect, both to me and I expect a lot of eAustrians in the country. Yet, I dont intend to take such a large responsibility lightly, oh no. I have a lot of things I want to accomplish in my future term, and I shall try to detail these plans over one, two or even three articles in the coming ten days.

So, without further ado, on to my first presentation, that will try and get YOU, the eAustrian public to support my bid for the presidency.

All about me!

I am going to give a brief overview of my adventure here in eAustria, for all the people eBorn after I turned up.

I have stayed in a fair few countries, and honestly the most enjoyable I have ever stayed in was eAustria. Here, I thought the country was small enough for someone to have an impact, it had all things I could ever want in a country, a vibrant political scene, great characters, and a welcoming and warm community. It was paradise.

When I first arrived here, I decided I wanted to get in on the political side of things, so I looked around for a party to join. At that time, there were 5 main parties, with the top three being with 10 members of each other. If my memory serves me correctly, the top three parties were "National Front Austria", "Rot Weiss Rot" and "Illumines Austria". I knew nothing of the political scene at that time, and as I looked around for a party to join, on a newspaper of mine Alfred Ball commented on it suggesting his party to me, one thing led to another and I signed up.

To cut a long and rather tedious story short, I soon stepped up my "propaganda" campaign for the NFA and was asked to assume leadership over the party. I held that position on and off for the following 3 months. During that time, my net of contacts expanded, and I got to know several of eAustria's prominent politicians.

After Alfred's term as president ended, Borojevic von Bonjar was elected too the office of president, being the first ever real life Austrian to hold that place. I formed part of his cabinet as MoD and my first governmental position was away. During this time, myself and PrinceOfAustria attempted to re-structure the military, and had limited support before the Croatia-Austria war broke out, and Borojevic sadly had to resign due to time constraints. I also at this time tendered my resignation after Borojevic's, and my short time as MoD came to an end.

Hop skip and jump a month or two forward and you have the awkward time of the country being ruled by the infamous Hedera. One of the hardest political decisions I made in my eLife was to support him for president, and I believe public opinion after that event made me pay dearly. My reasoning for this mess has been explained many times before, and to put it as simply and briefly as possible, I knew nothing of Hedera, but only bad of bobby.

I think I've droned on enough about my history though, and I now shall simply sum up my qualifications for the role, as Austria's leader.

Minister of Defence
Minister of Justice
Prime Minister/Vice President
eAustrian Congressman x3
x4 NFA Party president

I believe that I have the necessary experience to take on this role as Austria's guide through troubled waters.

In my following article, my policies will be released, these including:

Monarchy
The Military
Rebuilding a broken country
Foreign Policy (Sure to be radical).

Thanks for reading everyone and please consider voting for me in the next elections!
