[jw] Running for ESO Party President, again!

Day 2,274, 02:29 Published in United Kingdom France by Hell The Great

Since the founding of Every Single One I have been around. From being a 'waste of space' with 200 members, to being the party that got BigAnt his first shot at the Presidency (our bad guys), to being a home for the disenchanted and Diakun'd, we've had a checkered past filled with nothing that really stands out.

Except for the fact that everything we've done, ever, has in some form or another been morphed into schemes for Government(s), other parties, even countries across the globe. It's true that we may be much quieter than we used to, and its true that sometimes we got things wrong, but our past failures lead us to great things. Its easy to forget that whilst few of our members seek power, we've enhanced the game for hundreds, supplied weapons and food to thousands, and we're the only party that has demonstrably shown that we'll shoot ourselves in the foot, if it gives the UK a boost.

But enough about our history; I am writing today to announce that once again (term 9002) I will be running to lead our party. I've actually spent more time on my campaign and plans for ESO this month, than I have on previous runs for Prime Minister, or even for my previous engagement as Leader of TWO. Suffice to say, over the next few days I'll be spamming you all with links, invitations to help and ideas.

Anyone interested in helping next month, do get in touch. I've already had a few people willing to put the effort in already. It is not going to cost you your family, your social life, or have a negative impact on your job or studies. I'm studying for my MA, as well as working full time and doing stupid things like drink chinese beer, so I am not expecting miracles or hours of endless messaging. For those outside of ESO, sure it looks like we're down, and sure we've said this countless times, but this time is different. Because this time, its me. I'm back, I'm unburnt-out, and I'm ready.

If you fancy a switch, and want to be a part of the next stage of a party that has already achieved so much, then drop me a line. In line with the founding ethos of ESO, it doesn't matter who you are, what you've done, or where you've been. Judgements come from performance, and that is what ESO was founded for, and will continue to provide; a platform from which you can map out your future; whether its a future clicking here and there and cashing out your currency for Gold, or running country's or alliances.

Cheers, and I (tentatively) look forward to debating my ideas with you over the next few days,
