Join the new world

So here it is! My plans and policies I will implement with the help and guidance of our Congress and Government if I win the elections. I know its a bit of a read but I believe all of you as voters have the right to know exactly what the intentions are of the CP candidates as well as our past experience which is what I have outlined for you today. I will not go into all of my positions I have previoulsy held but to name a few I am a 5x Supreme Commander of Asgard, making me the longest serving SC and the longest consecutive serving SC at 3 months. I have previously been the CP of the Netherlands for a short time after a motion of no confidence as well as the former CP of Norway. You can go here to see more positions previously held.


Ministry of Defence:

Role and Policies: The role of the MoD of course is to help plan and coordinate our battles and to coordinate with Asgard and our other allies. Battle Orders will be kept up during this term to ensure we are hitting where its needed most.

Rent Deal with Russia: We need to re-open the debate on our deal with Russia. They previously held 3 regions but lost 2 when they were previously at war with Georgia. I think Congress needs to have a healthy debate on if we wish to continue this partnership or end it.

Rent Deal with Finlan😛 I have brought up the idea this term of possibly leasing our southern regions to Finland once more. This would give them access to the south as well as have a border with Lithuania if they manage to get back into Sweden. I would also like Congress to discuss this as well. There are two ways we could hopefully accomplish this. We could ask Russia to participate and NE them letting them take our regions, which in turn Finland could then take so we would not lose our MPP stacks. Or Norway could slowly stop resigning our MPP's and let Finland take the regions and immediately sign our MPPs again after this. The last one would take a longer time to do however and is a bit more risky.


Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
MoFA: M. de Ruyter?
vMoFA: Kesha Winehouse
Role and Policies: The MoFA is arguably the most important Ministry in the nation. They help us expand and keep up with our current allies. The MoFA is often in meetings that are on a nation to nation basis. As well the MoFA will have a spot in Asgard HQ. At the beginning of terms congratulation messages and invites to our forums and IRC are sent out to many Heads of States by the vMoFA.

Australian Relations: Our relationship with Australian has grown very strongly over the course of 2014. They have now reached our to Sweden and hope to reach out to Finland. I hope to cement this relationship this term by holding joint strikes and discuss a possible "Observer Status" for them in Asgard.

Asteria Relations: I want to help re-forge our bond with the nations of Asteria. Recently they helped us very much in Finland's AS were many priorities were set. This was a great start. Perhaps we can discuss the possibility of a common alliance battle orders or HQ to better our communication.


Ministry of Finance:
MoF: Kaname Darkwind
vMoF: Sthanley Heykel
Roles and Policies: The Ministry of Finance's biggest priority is to keep track of our daily income and spending. They also release all the money needed for programs and MPP's.

Financial Transparency: This month I wish for the MoF to work on giving Norwegian citizens Financial Transparency. This will be done by releasing a report available to citizens showing a break down of our spending and where our money is going. Every citizen has the right to know where our money is being spent. I hope this will ease some recent tensions about our spending and show you how our tournament gold is being spent.


Ministry of Immigration: Tangerine Dream
Roles and Policies: The MoI is primarily responsible to collecting, reviewing and posting immigration applications for Congress to vote on and approve.

Increasing our Population: There are a couple ways I hope we can increase our population this month. The first is the work done by the MoHA this month but also by immigration. Our immigration has been in a mess this past month with no application being reviewed. This will change when Tangerine takes charge of the MoI. As well I have been contacted by a group of about 20 people in an MU who wish to join Norway. They would contribute economically and militarily to Norway. I will discuss this with Congress of course as we have explored this idea in the past but previous situation lead us to saying No.


Ministry of Education and Solidarity:
MoE&S: Ruthless Warrior
Roles and Policies: The Duty of the MoE&S is to write and release tutorials that will benefit the Norwegian population, especially the younger citizens.

Weekly Tutorials: This month I wish for Ruthless to write 4 different tutorials. One to be released every week of the term. All tutorials will be able to be found on our forum and website. Tutorials can range from a number of issues from military to economy to participating in our democracy.


Ministry of Home Affairs:
MoHA: Thor Goodson
vMoHA: Kesha Winehouse
Roles and Policies: This is the 3rd time I am trying to introduce the MoHA into Norway so lets hope it works this time! The MoHA is responsible for helping to stimulate fun and activity into Norway while aiding other Ministry's such as the MoE&S and the MoD by holding joint projects and programs.

Joint Strikes: I want to hold joint strikes with allies this term. The MoHA will help us coordinate these efforts. During joint strikes supplies will be given to Norwegian citizens and to allies in our own battles. Weapons will be handed out by someone who has time but the MoHA can help to coordinate the actual strike.

Prizes for Everyone: The biggest task this month will be for the Ministry to come up with and release quizzes, raffles, and other forms of entertainment for our citizens. I will secure the Ministry a healthy budget which can then be used to buy prizes for the articles and handed out. I hope we can really get this Ministry up and running properly and that it will not just stimulate activity but help spend some of our tournament gold on citizens and help to attract and keep our citizens at home in Norway.



Director of Embassies: noenting
Roles and Policies: The Director of Embassies is going to be a branch off of the MoFA to help take some of the pressure off of the MoFA by taking responsibility for maintaining Norway's Embassies.

Establishing Ambassadors: noenting will be attempting to re-establish our Ambassador program by recruiting Ambassadors to represent Norway abroad as well as invite Ambassadors to come to Norway. This will help us maintain relations with other nations and be able to keep track of more information.

Interviews: noenting will also conduct interviews with foreign dignitaries, whether they be from allied nations or enemy nations. This will give people a better look at where Norway stands in the eyes of other countries.



Closing Statement: I hope that you share in my vision for an active Norway. I want to break away from old tradition and invite the new. My hope is that with new programs and ideas, we can not just attract some more players from around the world to help grow our great nation but we can get them to stay here longer than a couple months as well as keep our babies interested enough to stay before dying off. We need fresh blood pumped into Norway and need to get our Congress more active again. I love our country and I love our democracy, but some things do need to be changed and I believe I have always done what I said I would. I am not here for a CP medal, I am here to dedicate this month of my time, to making it the best month for all of you.
