[ISP] Recapping Congress and the last few days

Day 919, 00:41 Published in Japan Japan by Imperial Sun Party

Comrades,

These past few days have been eventful.

Sugawara, Danyeo, and I were strategically planning the Imperial Sun Party congress list at the late hours of May 22nd (Day 914). The government planned to release two of the South Korean regions in order to stabilize our own Congress which if it went as planned, should have ended up 3 candidates per region along with 4 wild cards overall. Needless to say that wasn't the case, much to my surprise the next morning (Day 915); the candidate structure was locked in 2 per region along with the total of 10 wild cards.

During the beginning hours of planning (before Day 914), I predicted that most of the Korean regions will be empty. So I thought of a brilliant idea, to place many of our active candidates in South Korea and 3-cap all the regions. The very next day (Day 916) I saw the regions were rwed and we had lost the Korean territories. This unprecedented disaster devastated our Congress structure.

We had over 14 candidates running in the Korean regions because I 3-capped most of the Korean territories. Many of our active candidates affiliated with the military also moved to Gyeong-gido to fortify the defense system. When Gyeong-gido fell, within minutes I saw our chances of Congress slim down from full 33 candidates to a mere 16 candidates; furthermore Japan was losing the SK war.

To add to the chain of events; on the day of Congress election (Day 917), the Japanese military
was launching a full offensive along with its allies in Liaoning. Anyways by this time, the Congress and the South Korean war meant very little for many Japanese citizens and officials. Our main priority was Liaoning.

I had to leave during the middle of the elections and Metic, the Party President of DPJ, was able to lead and coordinate most of our voters for a good bulk of the day. He did a great job and I was able to make it near the ending hours of the election. In the end our Party managed to salvage 11 seats in Congress. Additionally our military dealt a total of ~280k damage in Liaoning. We weren't able to secure Liaoning, but we were able to stand together with our allies.

We, the Imperial Sun Party, salute your valiant efforts of supporting our allies abroad and contributing to the Party and ultimately a Greater Japan.

Also a congratulations to the Congressmen who were elected. We have a selective few of thirty members this month and we hope you will lead our country into prosperity.
