Reiji Mitsurugi is Party President
Yesterday, the people of the Party spoke. They decided that I, Reiji Mitsurugi, should be the leader of the Imperial Sun Party. Truly, I won the election by a large margin and my opponent, Invader Lamu, has my condolences. I find myself curious about her intentions, as they were not announced. I will write to her and see what I can discover.

With the elections over, I now say thank you to my colleagues in the Party. Thank you for trusting the future of the Imperial Sun to me. I promise it is not misplaced.

Now I will begin this term of our party leadership by exalting His Majesty the Emperor. We look to Him for guidance, we look to Him for glory. He represents us, He is us, He is the guardian of our cultural heritage. We, the Imperial Sun Party, salute His Majesty the Emperor in unison. We work for the glory of Empire and Emperor. Ten thousand years!

Then it behooves us to begin laying the foundations of the future. From the Party Charter to the Party Platform, I want documentation in place to guide the Party into a new era. And I want the entirety of the Party membership active in these discussions. If you are a member who is not currently active on the forum, please contact me and I will help you get established. These discussions are some of the most important our Party will ever have, and I want you involved!

On that note, there is currently a private Party matter being discussed in the Internal Affairs forum, I won't mention the topic publicly, but if you are a Party member, please have your voice heard here. And again let me know if you need access.

The last matter of forum business is that of an information officer. I need someone in charge of keeping Party wiki and website information updated, among other things.Visit the forum for more information on that.

If these look like positive achievements and goals to you, then you may wish to consider joining the Imperial Sun Party! We are an authoritarian party, which does not mean that we stifle debate, rather we encourage the generation of ideas. But it does mean that once we decide on a course of action, we move together as a team to get things done. We are also a centrist party, meaning we favor market solutions where possible, and state solutions where it is not. Real life politics do not play a role in eRepublik! Our thinkers look at the game mechanics and do their best to create programs that maximize efficiency and strength.
