[IS4CP] The Executive Team
Israel Stevens
If you missed my first article, go check out the announcement, then come back here.
It’s time to talk about what is arguably the most important part of any Presidential Campaign: the cabinet.
I’m going to start off with the second in command, the Vice President. You know him as the long-time Secretary of Treasury, but he is more than one of America’s top economists. He is a skilled mediator, organizer and leader of the iNCi here in America. My Vice President is none other than Kemal Ergenekon.
My Chief of Staff is my longtime friend from the AMP. He was my CoS when I was Party President, and he later went on to succeed me in the chair. He is a motivator, and there are few others that I would want in such a position. I give you: That Groovy Black Love Train Cleveland Fleman.
Filling the role of Secretary of State, will be our current head statesman. A former President of South Africa, and someone that I have gotten to know very well over the past two months, he is wise beyond his years. Our foreign policy will be staying in his very capable hands: Tenshibo.
I have also tapped our current Secretary of Defense, to continue on for another term. This month, the Department of Defense has undergone an audit, and is still going through some reforms, and the work is not finished yet. He’s been stalwart, creative and of course pantsless: Ralph Ericson.
When it comes it the National Security Council Chairman, there is only one choice. He has held the position almost since it was created, and he is the brilliance behind such clever operation names as: ”Operation Paella Pan” (Invasion of Spain). There is no one that I trust more to be heading America’s strategy. I present to you: Vanek26.
My Secretary of Media is the man that helped create eNPR. He was the Federalist Party President the same time that I was the AMP’s. We’ve worked together, and I have always been a fan of his work in the media, both traditional and non-traditional. His wit is sharp, and his writing smooth: CivilAnarchy.
The Secretary of the Interior is very similar to the NSC in my mind. There’s really only one person for the job. She has a rare gift, something I know very well that I do not. She wants to see all players succeed, especially the new ones. The lovely, the talente
😛Molly Emma.
Although there is little fiscal policy left in this game, there does remain the tattered remains of an economy module, and for that we need a Secretary of the Treasury. My choice is one of the oldest Americans, and also one of the most financially successful. If anyone can gleam a sliver of hope out of this wretched economy module, it’s Leroy Combs.
For the first time in a while, the Department of Technology was revived under Artela. There has been a furious amount of work so far, but it’s not over yet. Maintaining our technological infrastructure is not an easy job, and theres no one better than: Darkmantle
Lastly, I plan on adding a new cabinet position. I strongly feel like there is a need to add a JCS Liaison to the cabinet. This person will have access to the Executive rooms, to better aid in the communication of the Executive, and what remains a large group of dedicated soldiers. While invasion may not look as eminent as it did 1 week ago, laying the groundwork for better communication right now is vital. If, and when foreign nations attack us, we need to be prepared, not scrambling to get new systems in place.
With that in mind, I have asked one of the top level Joint Chiefs of Staff to serve as our new Liaison. He is smart, and dedicated and is a boon not only to the Training Corps, but to America as well: Synesi
That is the team that I present to you. It’s not dominated by one party, nor one group of Americans. It’s an even mix between age and experience, and youth and passion. I have every confidence in these people to lead us. It is a great team, and I am truly honored that they have all agreed to work with me.

If you want a JCS liaison it should be the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff...that is what that position is there for, a spokesperson for the JCS.
Did I really just need to explain that?
hmmmm,
Yeah I agree with Bia on this. There are people you could have chosen to better be a liasion with the JCS Military whos actual job is very similar to what you want to create.
lololol.
Now... who is footing the $3600 USD bill for the Polish votes this time?
Wow. I actually know most of these people.
And they are all quality.
5 USWP
2 AMP
1 Fed
1 inci
No USMJ

Seriously? I like you man, but your cabinet seems like it was assembled for gathering votes, rather than doing it's job..

'If you want a JCS liaison it should be the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff...that is what that position is there for, a spokesperson for the JCS.' x2
Did she really just need to explain that?
"...your cabinet seems like it was assembled for gathering votes.. x2 Obviously.
Don't get me wrong, most of these people I consider my friends in game, and I admire and respect them, and they ARE capable...typically Leroy, Ralph, Vanek, Syn.., I'd vote just for those guys, but the very obvious ploy to gain the eUS mil vote by creating a position that should rightfully already exist with the CJCS is insulting to every player that ever loved what the eUS Mil stood for.
And I,for one, am exhausted with your "ploys" for fame and power.
Good people!
But ... who is Secretary of the 2-Clickers?
@Bia
I sent the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff a PM 2 days ago, to which she never responded. I explained what I would like to do, the reasons behind it, etc. And I asked for her input, and whom SHE would like to put forward to fill the position.
I can't make her respond to my PM, I really can't. After 2 days of waiting, I decided to pursue the idea regardless. I asked Syn to do it, and he reluctantly agreed.
The JCS liaison should be a trusted JCS member. Synesi is a trusted JCS member. He'll do great as the liaison.
I'll respond here as well as to the giant explanation you sent me in my mail. In the mail and here you indicated that the CHAIRMAN of the JCS did not respond. The eUS Military, as you are aware, prides itself on, for one, it's structure. It's one of respect. If the CJCS and the JCS did not consult and put forth a representative, you have no right nor reason to overstep that. And until I hear that the JCS made a universal decision for Synesi to represent them in this position....
then I call it disrespectful to the eUS Military community. You didn't respect the structure when you were inside of it, respect it from outside as a leader. And IF this has their approval, then I will as always respect the decisions of the JCS as a group and wish you the best of luck.
I see nobody new, just all same players the old administrations had, just rearranged.
Disappointing especially since you just finished telling me your goal was to involve new people.
You also commented how I shouldn't see everything you do as having an ulterior motive. There was a time I defended you, then I saw the motives. The respect was yours, freely given at one time, now you earn it. And taking the time to "explain" everything to everyone while you are running for PotUS, where you wouldn't and didn't give a crap before, is not the best time to do so. The last time you bothered to address me was the last time you ran for potus and offered me a job. Coincidence?
glove is love
IS is craps
Two qualifiers before I give my input:
1) I'm a big IS fan
2) I'm not sure who I will vote for yet
I think it's just as easy to call this a non-partisan cabinet as it is to call it one that panders for votes. I think we are in a perilous position in the eUSA with the way things have been going with EDEN recently so having an experienced and established team is a positive, IMO.
For the record, Synesi has always been an AWESOME officer, and I'm proud that he now shares the honor with me of commanding the greatest branch this game has ever seen, the Training Corps. He deserves it. It is how you managed to spin this to him to get him to accept a position that is intended to "lay the groundwork for better communication", without the entire JCS communicating their agreement first that astounds me. Leadership means setting examples, what kind is this?
To be honest i didnt expect such an interesting cabinet from you Israel.
Based on giving the JCS more access, I'll vote for Glove. I'd rather take a chance on someone who got us wiped last time than give the military that wanted to see us wiped gain more access. The JCS did everything they could to undermine the US.

Her not answering was her answer, the JCS has made it pretty plain they want nothing to do with the Government in its present form. Once again a mistake made because you are out of touch with America.
Hah, I love this rhetoric. Almost as good as Pfeiffer calling me a shoe :3
And I love how everyone claims to represent America.
"If you want a JCS liaison it should be the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff...that is what that position is there for, a spokesperson for the JCS.

Here's an even better idea, man up and ask the CJCS to reopen the JCS/Executive room and the JCS/Executive boards. Bia is right, you're only asking to further the divide by working with a lone JCS officer, rather than working with the whole JCS.
If you want reconciliation, make the move.
@Jasper - shaddap. you're the poster-child for two-clicking and you can make judgments like that?

Bia - for the record, the JCS was NOT consulted about this beforehand.
RE: JCS Liason - I haven't talked to Syn about this but knowing him fairly well I'm pretty sure he's just doing his best to help figure out a way to improve communications with the POTUS whoever it may be and that is, in my opinion a good thing.
That said though any kind of OFFICIAL communications from the POTUS or Exec branch with the eUS Mil needs to go through CW the CJCS.
Reopen the JCS/Executive room. Novel idea my Dear Bradley, one step ahead of you there though. The channel has been open since I took over. It has hosted persons such as Blank Keating, Cerb, Alexander Auctoritas , Oblige and currently Artela, to name a few. We are also in contact with RNP the current SoD when needed. SURPRISE! There will be no, let me restate, NO JCS liaison for any presidential candidate. JCS is non political and will remain so.

As for not answering your message from 2 days ago, I have worked 12 hour shifts for the last 3 nights and have barely had time to 2-click on those days. It is currently silly o'clock in the gawd dayem morning, and I SHOULD be sleeping, instead I am answering this stupid article. I hope this clears up any confusion concerning this situation. GOOD NIGHT!

@Jasper Ferguson - Suggest you recheck your facts. The JCS Military has aways been there doing what it does best. Putting out Damage for ourselves and our allies. Perhaps you were thinking of the hand full of people who attempted to destroy the eUS and the Military for their own gain and who put their militia above the eUS Interests by auto-funding it about a month after they started.
