[IRC] Time To Get More Active

As I was wandering trough IRC I realised that there is a decent amount
of people on the main channels but I didn't noticed that there is an active
conversation going on. Probably some of them are on other channels as well,or maybe not.Maybe there are just waiting for someone to start the conversation and while everybody's waiting,nobody's doing anything.Whatever the case is one thing is for sure:IRC activity is pretty low and that should change.
so many people and yet...
In some countries IRC is the main source of comunication especially if they
don't have any other means of comunocation (like forums etc..).Don't get me wrong,I'm not trying to talk sh*t about the forum,I'm just trying to advertise IRC and make it more popular so more people would use it.For those who don't know anything about IRC there is a detailed article about it.
So people of eUK join IRC,make it more represented,make it more active and the most important MAKE IT MORE FUN.

Agreed Zoka, It's rare to see a good conversation more often than a couple of times a day on #euk.
Partly that's because people have chats in other channels which is fine but perhaps we need to start paying more attention to #eUK and chat there as much as possible as opposed to party and mu channels.
well people can chat on multiple rooms at once.and you're right, people should pay more attention to #eUK
I think there's a slight relation between IRC activity and why eRepublik isn't as popular in UK as other countries around the world - most of us are probably doing something else if sitting at the PC, be it playing a "real" game, working, minecrafting, facebooking or otherwise.
But agreed, yeah! If you're on IRC pay attention to it and use it! I'm as guilty as anyone else of leaving it running in the background while I'm out or busy.
When I am online I always lurk on #eUK . More active I am in #MoD .
Whenever I am greeted, I say something back. Problem is, household takes a lot of time.
