Hello all, Khornz here just to introduce myself to all of you.

I am Captain of the 2nd Regiment of the NZDF. I joined eRepublik about two months ago after a friend invited me. Country selection for me was tough. I didnt want to join a large country, because I knew I would always be overshadowed by those who are higher level than me, or who have no time for newbs. I narrowed down my list to english speaking countries. I finally decided to pick eNZ because of its remoteness, the fact that it is one of the smallest countries and because my friend told me that eNZ would never ammount to anything, and I was wasting my time joining you. Im going to prove his polish ass wrong 😛

Firstly, id like to comment on the current state of eNZ through the eyes of a new player. In all honesty, the very start was very rough for me, and I made lots of stupid mistakes that could have driven me away from the game. I thought that using gold for health packs was a legit tactic, only to later realize how important conserving gold is. I also wasted much more gold on my tier one climbing center, a near total waste. What we need is simply a site or a message that we send all new kiwis to tell them exactly what to do in a welcoming way, so that they have a place, a fun first experience and some contact with existing members. Hell, this kind of thing could be a useful ministry position, Ministre of Education, educating the new ePlayers.

Despite what I said above, I still continued playing the game because I was genuinly intrested to see how a game like this, with extremly simple mechanics, was able to captivate crowds of people and create a huge community. Now I understand why people play this game, and I am glad ive discovered it. Ive noticed how closely knit the eNZ community, and my outward glance is every one respects each other, not based on their level, strength, political view, or MU. Kiwis are also very friendly people, and I had no trouble asking for anything I needed, whether it be advice from Mr. T, or some supplies.

A bit about myself, I am Canadian highschool student. I am FIRST robotics student and on the honor roll, avide PC gamer and board game player. My main intrests are Warhammer 40k (which I might post about once or twice to show you the great game) and I do alot of reading, mostly science fiction or fantasy (Feel free to suggest any great books youve read in french or english).

Lastly, Id like to thank all the kiwis of this great country for the hospitality that youve shown me. I look forward to talking to each one of you and fighting by your side in the future.

Cheers, Khornz
