[Intro] How to find bot prices

😁 subs first 😁

After my recent troll articles (no I'm joking, the articles were legit), a couple players asked me to share some tips or tricks on how to make money. As if I know shiet. So I decided to write an article on how to invest in an export license and start trading goods abroad. I don't want to make this article tl;tr, so I will first talk about the bot, in order to get this out of the way.

For starters:
Every hour at the xx:50 (except the first and last hour of the day, I believe) there is a market bot that buys products automatically. It buys raws, food and weapons of all qualities. It is buying a part of each offer, up to a certain specified price.

What is this price? you might ask. Well, for large enough countries the price is not fixed and it can change from 1 hour to the other. They decide on it, after running some formulas (we saw how good they are at it, didn't we) and likely after smoking some stuff that are illegal in most of the States. You have probably noticed how much they dropped prices recently, haven't you.

ok so I can't give you a certain price, but I will tell you how to find it.
A very helpful tip first: prices on food and weapons go according to the quality, at a fixed ratio. q2 food is double the q1 food, q4 is double the q2, q6 is triple the q2 and so on. The same is true for weapons.
(I wasn't aware of that detail, until I found out from this newb here a week ago. That's kinda irrelevant, but it is fair to name my sources).

Therefore, in order to find the price of a product at a certain time, you do the following:
At xx:49 you open up tabs with the first few pages of this product in the marketplace. Two minutes later you open the same tabs in another window. You then compare the "before" and "after" and you find out up to which price the bot bought. Right now there are countries where some bot prices are below the market price, so the best is to check the cheapest qualities and then extrapolate to the more expensive ones.

ok now that we've got all this worked out, we can move to some info that can be very important when we are choosing the country we will buy a license to. For each product there is an absolute max price for the bot and there are countries that have been running at this max for a long time now (some perhaps non-stop since the introduction of the bot).
What is this max price?
Raws: 0.33 + applicable taxes
Foo😛 (0.66*Q) + applicable taxes
Weapons: (6.6*Q) + applicable taxes

Lets take the US for example. Final prices:
Raws: 0.33 local, 0.35 imported
q1 foo😛 0.73 local, 0.76 imported
q5 foo😛 3.63 local, 3.80 imported
q3 weapons: 20.79 local, 21.78 imported

Of course you have no chance selling in the US at such prices. Bot prices in the US are like half of those. But there are small and medium countries where the prices are still at max. You have to spot those. Pick a small/medium country, estimate max prices according to their taxes and see if the bot is buying there. One of those countries can return good money if you invest on an export license there.

On the next issue I will tell you what you should be looking into when trying to pick the right export license.
