Join the new world

In these exciting days for Western and Northern Europe, in which I took part as a State Secretary of Netherlandish foreign affairs, I decided to do some interviews with politicians of countries from our neighbourhood.
I think this will be good step for my small career and it will represent some kind of help to my government colleagues as well.
By the way, I would first like to thank the current Dutch CP - Mr. Valeyard who allowed me this modest position. Nothing will ruin the expectations!

Interview with eBritish prime minister Aleksandar.V Popovic (Alex):

1. What's your general opinion about current eEuropean situation?

"My opinion about current situation in eEurope is that all arround eEurope are still happenning wars,one country taking teritorries from another which isn't good,but that's reality. Any war isn't good for any country. Currently, situation in entire eEurope is turmoil and anything could happened."

2. What's happening in eUK right now and can it have some influence in your foreign policy?

"eUK is still under threat of PTO more from inside than outside. We regain teritorries from Poland, our ally, matter of fact they returned to us West Midlands,also eUK defended from France and got back East of England and London. Currently, Norway are trying to attack Scotland but I am sure they will not succeed."

3. Your views about eNetherlands and will we have succes in striving to ePoland and Sirius?

"Well can't tell much about Netherlands as I am not entirely aware of situation there, but generally speaking Netherland is proSIRIUS country so I am sure that Netherlands could strive to ePoland and Sirius and officialy join into Sirius."

4. Do you support ambassador program as a good way for reaching diplomatic results?

"Generaly speaking diplomacy is always good for any disputes and it always give good result of any peaceful negotiations between two sides who are in war. Yes I support ambassador program for reaching diplomatic results."

5. eUK started another useless war with eNorway and eFrance?

"Well I can't say it is useless war against Norway and France. War with Norway was more like training war to see how Norway will react and how many damage can do to us,as well as how many damage we can do to them. It turns out that they are though as "coconut", but we broke that coconut"


6. Sirius will be strong alliance and worthy rival to Asteria?

"Of course SIRIUS could be and it is strong opponent to Asteria/LETO Alliance"

7. Something to add or to annunciate something to readers?

"I can add that every Ministery of eUK work properly and well and do their job according CP-s guidelines. As Prime Minister I haven't any objections on their work if I had my hands are tight as I am not CP and can't tell them what they have to work and where they could be more efficiant."

Interview with eNorwegian President Mr. Joshua Morriseau :

1. What's your general view about current situation in eEurope?

"Well to say "current situation in Europe" is a very broad term indeed. There are many current situations, such as the UK and Lithuania working together to invade Norway (fail), of course their is Poland's dominance over much of Europe which is sad and tiring to see. France's continued occupation is not exactly a great thing for neither the game nor the French community in Erepublik. Latvia's invasion of Belarus is not favourable either, and the fact that Lithuania is on the map still is very sad to see."

2. How your country looks to eNl after that recent war between us?

"Well Im assuming the NL does not like us but that is not exactly troubling to see. The NL and Norway have managed to co-exist as neighbours since then with very little trouble. No, were not friends but I don't think anyone is worried about that. The NL cannot be to worried about Norway as you are being wiped by Poland every other day (to reset determination I believe) and judging by your non existent MPP stack, you truly cannot be worried, which means that we do not worry."

3. Your country feels isolated by North sea protection pact?

"Not exactly. Norway is surrounded by our oldest and natural allies, Sweden, Finland and Russia. There is no reason for us the feel isolated. And I didn't realize the NSPP was still a thing."

4. Do you support ambassador program as a good way for reaching diplomatic results?

"I do yes. It was one of the main points in my campaign for CP. However as Im sure you will know in the NL, it is much harder for a small nation to operate an Ambassador program on the scale that larger nations can do. We simply lack the manpower. Norway has recently re-launched our Ambassador program this term so we will see how it works out for us and if its worth it to continue it next term under M.d.R."

5. eUK will meet another fiasco with "Eternal war" with eNorway?

The UK has had some sound CP's before who realized that Norway was no longer a long term option to keep occupied. That is why they left in the first place. But you always get that one guy who comes along and needs to "prove his worth" so to speak. So when the UK stops electing people like that, they will realize that a war with Norway is nothing but costly for them. With determination rules, and Norway's broad foreign policy, large MPP stack and close relations with Asteria and LETO HQ, we are no longer just a nation to be used for our resources. We have kicked out Poland, Romania at one point, Bulgaria, FYROM and Lithuania to name a few, the UK will not be an issue."

6. Asgard will negotiate with Baltic countries and Russia?

"Russia is one of our closest allies, we often rent regions to them and aid in each other's battles. Currently they are working with Sweden so yes we do negotiate a lot with them. We have tried to negotiate time and time again with Lithuania but they always show us why our talks failed. They recently worked with the UK to AS us while the UK invaded with that they called a "Training War." Well the AS failed and the UK is gone now. Belarus is an ally, while Estonia and Finland have a weird relationship. I don't have much to say about Latvia although if they wish to begin new relations with Asgard I would be the first to the table."

7. Asgard will stay upright with it's politics and strivings?

"Yes we will. Asgard has a very defined foreign policy with strict guidelines. We operate as one unit and together we have accomplished more than any alliance our size has managed to do."

8. After all, DO YOU BELIEVE in good talks with eNl ?

"That's a tough question. We were directly lied to when the NL invaded us. We received inside intel saying you were going to invade, when your CP was questioned about he lied and said his Government had no intentions of invading. So judging by this I would say no but you can't judge an entire nation on one persons bad credit."

9. Considering that you're good politician and diplomat,do you think eNl has any chances to live with ePolish presence on our teritorries or we just deceive ourselves with a point we'll be succesfull in Sirius?

"The NL would be fooling itself to think that Poland is a friend. Many people in the NL disagreed with M.d.R but he had it right when it came to his position on Poland. To think that the NL is anything more than a door mat for Poland would be unwise. Its a really bad situation to be in however and I understand it fully. If Norway and the NL were in switched positions geographically on the map, we would be subject to Polish rule. We are just lucky they are not a natural neighbour.

As to if I think the NL will ever be apart of Sirius, my answer is no. Sirius would not let a small power like the NL into Sirius but further more, Sirius will not be around long enough to even vote no on letting the NL in. I doubt even Aurora would allow you in, but you never really know. Aurora seems a lot more sound and has their alliance and priorities together. I think they have been a far more effective alliance than Sirius has been. But they are going to look at what the NL can offer them. And from this point of view, it is not much. Fire power? A bit yes, but it doesn't look like you can even afford to sign that many MPPs on a long term basis so...if you were asking if I thought you had a likely chance of being apart of either alliance, from my own opinion, I would say no."

10. Something to add or to annunciate something to readers?

"I know it seems like there is no future relationship that can ever happen between Norway and the NL but you never know. I understand why NL did what it did, after all I left the community after we were wiped for so long. The game just got boring an old. A point I made earlier about France. So no hard feelings, everybody moves on. Also I just wanted to say hi to my friends in the Netherlands, hi everyone! 😛 "
