Join the new world

Comrades,

First of all I would like to thank those of you who entrusted that I will best serve our party this term. My goal is to come straight forward with you all and list off my goals for our party this month.

DISCUSSION THREAD

As most of you know, we have 2 active member threads in which we discuss election details, share important party and national articles, along with other official information.

My goal this term is to start a new thread, for the goal of establishing a better community within our party. This third thread will be for debate and discussion, both of erepublik information and information pertaining to RL situations. The goal is learn more about one another, to hear differing views on differing situations, and to help our less active members still stay informed of whats going on in erepublik globally should they wish to be included.

Yes, the thread will be by volunteer/invitation only. I will send invites to every member of the party, followed by a friend request. It will function as IRC does, or a forum, only you will not have to leave the game to take part. Besides, it's more secure than our public party thread, which also limits the length of discussion.

Members of this thread, should they want to be a part of it, can expect occasional sharing of news articles, case studies, and erepublik articles that may insight thought and discussion.

ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT GLOBALLY

My hopes are that we rekindle our membership in the ecomintern this month, and get in touch with other leftist parties throughout the e-world. This will help us better stay informed of what's going on, learn from other partys' experience, teach other parties from our own experience, make better and more informed decisions in congress, and of course, make some new friends.



DEDICATED ILP SPOKESPERSON

To accomplish the above task I will want a dedicated spokesperson from the ILP. This will be someone who will consistently, term after term, post party articles not related necessarily to the information our Party President releases, but perhaps updates on our activity, recruitment, and contests. The reason this person should remain consistent, less they choose to step down, is that they will also be in charge of keeping consistent relations with the ecomintern and other international groups and parties. This way, each new Party President will not have to establish relations each term, and we will have a familiar representative internationally each term, who can help inform our party leadership and keep them updated.

I am proud to announce that our recently returned comrade, Red Beard the Scotsman, has accepted this title. o/

AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

Rafaia, the current MoFA, is still looking for talent in the ambassador program. If you would like to get more active, help our nation, and meet more players, please let him know. If you would like to know more about what being an ambassador entails, just send me a pm.

COMRADE AWARDS

This term I will be bringing back the Comrade Awards, to give credit and recognition where it is due to our members. It's not much, and my graphics skills and resources are limited, but we in the leadership really do appreciate the effort and time you put into Ireland, the ILP, and/or the LPA.

ALL RISE!

The first award goes to a new up and comer in our party. They have displayed exceptional work in the ambassador program, along with giving consistent articles that keep our citizens informed on events in the world. Their efforts are appreciated and we hope the great work continues. Dark Fallen Arrow is here by awarded a Golden Comrade medal! (10 weps)



The following award is currently the LPA's highest honor. For his valiant efforts in the LPA's recent contest, and his dedicated commitments to Ireland on the battlefield, this newer comrade deserves mention and recognition. The LPA proudly presents MacChristo the Victory of Labour! (1 gold)



The next medal will be the third of its kind awarded. It is currently the highest honor in the ILP. This comrade stepped up when we needed an important position in the leadership filled. He's also been a great asset to the LPA leadership, filling in when needed in various positions. This comrade has been reliable in both the Dail and our leadership, and is a legend among our party. The ILP proudly rewards Danilo Garcia with the Order of Waffle. (1 gold)



MY CURRENT MISSION

I stepped down as MoFA this term to better our party, and focus on my role as ambassador. With this first article, I will begin on achieving these goals.
