[ILP] Fight.

Day 2,239, 10:51 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

Comrades,

I come to you today in perhaps our darkest hour. We face trials that appear hopeless. We face foes that we once called friends. Our homeland has changed, and we have been deemed its enemies. Over the past few years, both the game and Ireland have been diseased. In massive numbers, our citizens are dying left and right. We are down to but only a handful of committed players. Are we all truly heading down a path that cannot be reversed?

Why put so much emotion, so much passion and commitment into this game? Why care so much? Why fight so hard and put in so much work to better our country and party which is all but a fictional creation, an image on a screen?

It is true that we have been called enemies many times friends. This is nothing new to us. We have seen war rage on against our aggressive enemies at the border, just as we have seen war wage on in our own homeland. We have had our party stripped away from us, only to be degraded and mocked. We have seen respected players remain silent to such atrocities and others even rejoice. It has been shown that we still have enemies both foreign and domestic. There are those who would only like to see Ireland shaped in their image. They wish to write lies into the pages of our history, which for the past couple years has not been in their favor. For you see, the winners of wars write history, and yet they failed at every attempt to discredit and dishonor us. The majority saw through the lies. The majority respected us. Until now. What do we have left? Do we have anything left? Where can we go from here? What will we do?

We will fight. We will fight until we achieve every desire we have set out to do. We will not waver in our journey ahead. We will not quit on our dream. We may not have the allies that we once had. We don't need them. We have eachother. It is all we've ever needed. It is all we will ever need. The tides have turned against us indeed but do not be discouraged. For if we give up, then it was all for nothing. Every ounce of energy put into trying to better this nation, for our allies and enemies alike. It will be in vain. Every tank. In vain. Every term. In vain. Every article. In vain. Everything we have ever hoped to achieve will be lost, and we will only be further insulted and degraded in our demise. We will not lose. We will not die. We will fight.

It is sad and unheartening to see so much of Ireland support Conway's direct attack at our party. This is a game he and his friends have played for some time. He plays politics and tries to exploit at any opportunity. For once in his pathetic elife, he has succeeded. Over 40 players supported his article, which blatantly calls our party snakes and states that we allowed insulting and bullying for our own gain. Liam and Raven Anarcho were even told they had no courage. We're disappointed with everyone who supported that article. They either have serious issues with us or they are blind enough to support Conway's political agenda. Alas, Conway will no longer be the subject of this article.

We could easily say "Those who supported or were apathetic towards the take over of our party do not care about Ireland or unity." There were respected members who even said it was enjoyable to witness. That the mockery of our party by a pack of trolls and thieves was a nice cure to boredom. We could ask that everyone denounce Ibhoy, who has insulted us in the comments of almost every party article that we've published. We could play the same political game that they are all are playing, that is, the people who supported Conway's article. But we would fail. Why? Because nostalgia means more than character in Ireland. Because an older player who brings back memories you are fond of is more rich and meaningful than the mud he slings. Alas, They will no longer be the subject of this article.

We have worked with Ireland. There were members of our party who refused to have anything to do with Conway's work, however, when they were informed that the poll would actually help Ireland, they participated. We have kept the dail threads free of vicious arguing. Usually we retaliate when we're insulted. We haven't been insulted. we haven't retaliated. But regardless, there's been little to no arguing until this recent campaign, which was not started by us. We have tried to work with Ireland, even with our rivals. But that is not good enough. We didn't know that in order to work for Ireland, that we had to denounce two individuals publicly, who won't stop no matter who denounces them. We weren't aware that our previous efforts to help meant nothing. But see, the standard turned from "put down the guns and hug" to "denounce Kurgan", which I have no doubt will eventually change again to another requirement. We have worked for Ireland. Yet we are judged and attacked. Alas, we will no longer be the subject of this article.

Kurgan and RTK’s tactics are a threat to Irish Unity. Their relentless attacks on individuals and their RL identity is wrong. We have asked VK to tone it down in the past and they've stated that they play the game the way they want to. That if the ILP has a problem with it so be it. Well, here it is everyone. They are wrong. They've unintentionally damaged our party's image, even though we asked them to tone it down. It was unfair for that damage to occur, as it was only a goal for our rivals for such damage to be done in the first place when they originally associated us with them.. But all of this aside. Bhane is an honest CP. He wants what's best for Ireland. He wouldn't lie about something like medical problems for sympathy votes. The pure accusation is ignorant. We wish him the best in his therapy. Ian Coleman has put in hours of work to keep our players educated on the methods of the game. Ian Airbuckle, though we have our differences, stepped up to run the training ground program. Apple has done an outstanding job in running the MoF. Grainne and Dagdha have fought for Ireland countless times and will always be Irish in our book. Anthony Colby is one of the best MoC’s we’ve ever had and his time and energy are respected by us all. Captainjackson is not underage. I will not wrongfully say that RTK assaulted a minor. That's crap. But he did say inappropriate things that a mature and collective individual would not say. Sexual harassment through the internet is still sexual harassment, whether he's a minor or not.

Let us say that there’s not a single insult to Ibhoy or his allies that we disagree with. Some may be accurate, some may be inaccurate. All of them are well deserved. Just as his continuing attacks on us must be well deserved. Bullying bullies is no problem. Trolling trolls is no problem. But attacking honest Irish, those who have done nothing wrong, which happen to be more than half of the people being attacked, is wrong.

It needs to stop for our nation to finally move on. We know the past. We know what certain individuals have done to this nation. We will never forget. But linking everyone to them who doesn't agree with you is illogical and unreasonable. Furthermore, going to the extent of insulting, stalking, and harassing is severely damaging to our nation.

To conclude, Kurgan and RTK will most likely retaliate. This doesn't worry us. The thought never has. We've seen no reason to publicly denounce anyone just because "we say you should". No doubt they’ll call us tools. They’ll say we sold out to the orcs or that we’re misguided or enslaved. Our rivals will enjoy this as they’ll think they controlled our actions. The truth is we've tried to contact VK and reason with them in the past. It failed, and now we will take the next inevitable step. Severance.

Alas, Kurgan and RTK will no longer be the subject of this article.

I dream of an Ireland which is relevant again. A recent Croatian CP once bluntly admitted that we are in fact irrelevant with our current size. He is correct, though it pains me to say. We are a group with many clans. But are we still a nation? Will we ever get back to the size and power that Ireland once had long ago? My dream is to take us far beyond that. To rise to the height of which we have never been. To see us accomplish what we could only have dreamed. In the months to come, a small fortune will change everything about the way we experience this game. A small fortune will fall into my hands and into this nation. I have been told by our political enemies that it cannot be done. I will prove them wrong. We will prove them wrong.

Comrades, you are not alone. You never have been. You never will be. It is time we stop playing around and get serious. Is it time we become the wretched bastards that so many accuse us of being? One thing is clear. It is time we say enough. If the odds are stacked against us, so be it. If all of Ireland should choose to rise to destroy us, then we must be forced to cut them down where they stand. We will soon be in a nation once again, with a blooming community. A nation called upon for more than a few tanks, but for an army of committed soldiers. A nation that actually deserves its name. We will be relevant once more. But on the way to this dream, which will become a reality if we have to sink every ounce of energy we have into it, we could very well be in a war. Do not waver. Do not give up. Fight. o/
