[IBB4CP] Platform and Cabinet Applications

Hello again friends,

I come to you today outlining the problems and concerns of eCanada as I see them and how I intend to address them.

I could just type away a wall of text and make you all read through it in order to find my answers, but I know how most of you feel about walls of text.



Therefore I'll keep it simple, I'm going to state a "problem" or "situation" we find ourselves in, and then I'll state a solution or way to overcome it. Pretty simple stuff.

Spain:

Problem:
Spain still has some of our stuff.

Solution:
I'm not an idiot, I'm not going to ruin what we worked so hard for.
However, I, along with my Foreign Affairs team, will have constant talks with the Spanish Government to negotiate the eventual return of our home and native lands.
Not much more can be done right now without spoiling the Ceasefire.




Alliance:

Problem:
After leaving Asgard recently we are left without an allegiance, without literal "allies" and in neutral waters.

Query:
Why is being Neutral bad?

Response:
Neutrality, although encouraged by some other candidates and parties, is not something I stand for. eCanada as a nation has to stand somewhere, because if we don't stand for something, we will fall for anything.

Solution:
I am plenty experienced with alliances, both past, present, and future, and I can assure you that I will find eCanada a place in the Alliance that is the best fit for us.

This fit is somewhere surrounded by loyal and noble allies, not somewhere that Canada will simply put its support and hope for support back. We want Brotherhood, as we always have, but what is a Brotherhood that can't support itself.

We will have a future in a Brotherhood of nations, not simply one that says it has the others back then turns and looks out for only its own interests, but one with a future. A bright future.




Money:

Problem:
We have a bunch now that we have congress and are not sure where to spend it?
Note: This isn't really a problem, it's actually a kinda nice change, but anywho.

Solution:
-MPP's will be signed in accordance to where our new alignment falls, obviously, and with all true "allies".

-MU Funding, this is something we are in desperate need of ever since this new work tax has been created. It takes away from the efficiency and success of eCanada's MUs and I don't see why it shouldn't go back to them. They play a crucial part in eCanada's life and must be treated as such.

Therefore I will work with our Congress and the Ministry of Finance to allocate enough money to get our MUs back on their feet and fighting at their peak performance.

-New Players Assistance (see next "problem")


New Players:
You all think these people need us, they don't, you think these people will die without us, maybe or maybe not.

The truth is, that without us they could go either way, but without them, without these fresh new faces it is us that will face extinction. It is us who needs them for survival.

Therefore, we will help them, not just for them, but for us as well. For without them we are nothing.

With this I will work with the parties of eCanada as well as my Ministers of Education and Internal Affairs to work out a national program to help these new players. Similar to the MDP and CPF programs of the recent past and present.


Old Players:

Problem:
There are plenty of old eCanadians abroad who, I'm sure, would like to come home. We all miss them and we'd love to have them back.

At the same time there are plenty of players from other nations who wish to come to eCanada looking for a fresh start, or a 2nd chance.

Solution:
With the current Congress, and the new one that will be elected in the final stretch of the term, we will work to get out as many Citizenship Passes as possible to the players most deserving and to those who would truly benefit our nation in the long run.




eUSA (Brolliance):

I don't see this as a problem or anything, but I thought that I should address our neighbours to the South (and west).

We all have many friends south of the border, there are even many eCanadians down there, and it is with this in mind as well as the overall prosperity of our nation that we will continue to support the eUnited States in the Campaign for total freedom from the forces of TWO.

After all the help most of them gave us, it is only fair that we do what we can to repay them.

Cabinet

Starting now I will be accepting applications for anyone who is interested in being on my Cabinet.

If you think you are qualified, I insist that you apply.
If you don't, then apply regardless because you never know how useful you are until you put yourself out there.

I will be accepting applications for 2 days, until 23:59 on Day 2,113.

NOTE: No Ministerial positions have been set in stone and all are still up for grabs.



Finally, I would like to thank the Presidents and Members of the Canadian Reform Party, the Bacon Party, and the Ukrainian Party of eCanada for their endorsements thus far. I am still looking for more and if you think your party would be interested but are in any way hesitant please PM me and we will see if I am right for you.
