[I&W] Upcoming projects
Bernard Hoffington
It's coming close to the congress elections and all the parties are strutting their stuff, showing how they stand up for the eNL citizen and how they're the right choice. Your probably expecting the same from us right? A boring article about how we want to lower taxes, give everyone a smiley face sticker and send them on their way with food and weapons.
Well no, instead we're going to talk about some PRACTICAL and PHYSICAL projects which we, Iron & Wine, will be trying to put forward in the coming months.
Here's just a few ideas I've put forward in the last week.
But Iron & Wine is all about REAL ideas.

Recently proposed in the Ministry of Defense forum is an idea for an elite group of strong and active fighters who will be willing to travel to allied resistance wars and help win the fight.
The fighters will be made up from fighters from ALL the national military units, meaning you don't have to join a separate MU. The fighters will most likely have to meet strength requirements and be active daily or at least every few days.
The possibility of selling their damage to the highest bidder will also allow an extra bit of income which will help fund future projects for the ministry of defense.

Another project involving the Ministry of Defense involves getting 'Battle Orders' published by the MoD out into the public more efficiently.
This would mean members of the government shouting the article and then supplying citizens, also in the national MUs, to vote the article up. It's a great system to get the battle orders noticed by more as well as supplying the most active fighters.
So why vote Iron&Wine this coming congress elections?
Because we have ideas, we're seeking like minded, forward thinking citizens who also have ideas that want to push forward the boundaries of the eNL and hopefully make it a better place to live.
So make the right choice.

inb4 'So what are your parties actual policies?'
Just look at all the other parties polices, they say the same thing:
DEFEND OUR BORDERS
GET OUR REGIONS BACK
SAVE MONEY
That's common sense.
\o/
So... what are your party's actual policies?
\o/ lol
@Dutch Paratroopers: So you're thinking of making an eDutch mercenary group, with the benefits going to the state? And do you really mean people from all MU's can join, while at the same time you say there should be a strength requirement?
@Call to arms: I like your idea of people shouting the orders. I must wonder where you will get the supplies for active citizens, as this is an extra to normal supplies if you work in a commune. Have you thought about the costs for this plan?
Call to arms costs too much? Oh well avert your eyes to your first paragraph : P
That's not my point. Please react to my question. : P
@Dutch Paratroopers. Yes to everything you asked. Elite/active members of eNL (as well as the few guys who have moved to eUSA) would wear the DutchParas emblem, help in crucial fights that might require moving costs as well as selling their damage as a whole unit (10 mil+ etc) and giving the gold to the MoD.
@Call to arms: Extra costs come from DutchParas profits.
And what if the DutchParas idea doesn't come through? Will that mean that the Call to Arms plan is dead?
I still don't understand how you can use a strength requirement and accept citizens from all MU's, including the Division I MU's. : S
People sell their damage everyday in #mercenaries. I don't see why it wouldn't come through.
If it doesn't come through i don't mind funding the 'Call to arms' thing myself.
If i remember, even Luuklag offered to chip in a few tanks to help if needed.
Dependent on the importance of the battle order article there could be more supplies.
! we !
! lack !
! activity !
Solve it first, and then we finally can get all those great plans working again...
