[GOVT] Atra as Honorable General by woshie
Woshiempire
Hello, I am woshiempire, your president speaking. As the President of eSingapore, I will title Atra as the Honorable General of the Singapore Military.
He will be in-charge of the military planning, long-term goals of the military. In the military ranks, this post will be below the MoD. However, Honorable General has the rights to directly speak to the president, bypassing the MoD in emergency.
The Honorable General post will be seen as a long term post which build long term goals of the military. See the big picture across different president terms.
Future presidents can also reference Honorable General as their MoD. It just like MoD is seen as a more political role than a military role.
Atra, you cannot reject this post unless you give me your numbers 😃
thanks

lol
Lol, it's a good idea. Even if atra is gonna be MoD next month anyway...
He seriously wants atra's number xD
So is this pretty similar to Relorian's plan?
Seems pretty similar to my plan. The having 2 MoDish roles might cause some confusion somewhere down the road but for now it will work pretty well.
Atra, i also want your number. muacks. = D
It quite similar to relorian plan but i divided the area into operation and planning differently.
help planning can be done for long term, but help in operation stuff for long term is too much job for anyone to handle
Woshie, planing term operational stuff isnt really all that much of a job in eSingapore. Given that eSingapore is locked into a one region existence with out opportunity to expand.
If the job became more active via long term Wargames or actual combat then I could see splitting the job but until that time it just creates a role that will either be filled by one person in both spots (keeping the MoD role still political but at the same time not political) or it will be filled by 2 people who may not see eye to eye and will create confusion or conflict if one says "Lets go fight" and the other says "I want funding first".
The hybrid system will work for now but I think a future president and congress need to revisit the issue.
