[GOV] Romania and Ukraine
Hello dear Ukrainean friends,
Firstly i want to say that i am aware of all the past and present issues between our countries, and i do understand why Danylo is so cautious when dealing with Romania and Hungary.
Me, andrew mcwilliams, gray, mistwalker and danylo were discussing for 3 days how we can improve realtions between the 2 countries 7 days ago. the talks were great, we ended up with an economic plan to support ukrainean economy with the reopening of the romanian mines in podolia, a non-aggression pact and the guarantee for an independent Ukraine. All good, unfortuantlly danylo went with this plan to Hungarian leadership, and they rejected it because wanted to use ukraine as a base for future atacks on Romania. Danylo informed us that talks are halted .. till further notice.
Well, my ER team was quite upset, not only we wasted time, but Ukraine showed us that it is not independent and doesn't have a strategy of its own.
My team decided to take matters to the next level. We decided to put some congressmans in the Moldavian regions Ukraine holds. We sent 30 people, and expected to win 10-15 seats so we can get a peace aided by our Ukrainean friends.
The results show that Moldavians got +20 seats, meaning that we can make peace without the help of ukraineans.
I want to guarantee some things:
1. Moldavian congressmans will propose and sign Peace
2. Moldavian congressmans will not issue any UAH
3. Moldavian congressmans will transfer no UAH to any account
4. Moldavian congressmans will not change the structure of the taxes in Ukraine
5. Moldavian congressmans will resign as soon as peace is signed, and real ukraineans is incharge of its country
6. Moldavian congressmans will not attempt to attack Podolia
I repet for the 10th time, we come in Peace, we don't want to plunder or rob your country. We just want to sign peace. We understand that Hungary is blackmailing you, so we decided to take matters to another level. We are saddened that we had to do a PTO, but danylo gave us no other choice. This is in fact the first ever PTO for peace not war.
Overall, please understand Romania is not the enemy anymore, we started making mines in Bucovina, Ro region, and with the exports from Podolia we are just fine. I hope the Ukrainean leadership will see that our words are true now that we put them into action.
Adendum: I instructed all congressmans to vote no to impeach.
In the end, please go ahead and make any suggestion how can relations between the 2 countries can be improved, we are more than open.

So Romania PTO-ed Ukrain, because it cannot stand a country deciding its own fate. Hungary gave back Ukrain to the Ukrainians, but Romania does not like an independent country making decisions that are not in Romanian interests.

I would be more angry at the fact that your anti-pto team failed so miserably. In the end Hungary did nothing for ucraine since it left in our hands.

@ Quicksilver - In the comments to the TO article wrote by Zoli, Ukraine's president explicitly stated that the Ukraine wishes to remain neutral. Romania is offering peace and the chance to be neutral and have economical relations. Isn't this exactly what Danylo wants?

@Quicksilver: By PTO-ing Ukraine Romania will ensure a peace treaty is signed. This means all the MPPs against Romania will be closed closed. You can figure out for yourself what that means for PEACE in general and Hungary in particular

Quicksilver, the recommended attitude when you lose is to get into your corner and cry quietly. Please use that advice wisely.
All Romania wanted is peace. You try to picture us as the scarecrow of Ukraine, we want to steal, we want to take Podolia, we want to rape their horses and steal their women. Well, we don't.
We don't hold any Ukrainian teritory (unlike Hungary), we won't interfere in their future decisions (unlike Hungary), we just made an (expensive) move to sign a peace that's in the best interest of Romania and Ukraine. Unexpected as it is, we won't impeach, attack, take lands or take money.
Not signing the peace between Romania and Ukraine until now was Hungary's decision. We just made sure that you're out of the picture, for now. If you have a problem with us, deal with us directly, don't use 3rd countries for your own interest. BRING IT ON, in the words of a classic.

Radar 2 - wtf are you talking about??? I am angry that the president of Romania violated the sacredness and eRep policy of in game pms - that is what I am angry about.
And no one has proposed any type of security - only peace to close our mpps to lessen our security. Romania has never proposed to defend Ukraine from external aggression which is what security is for a country with a weak army.
