[GGRyan] To The Future In PANAM

Day 1,204, 12:56 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by GGRyan

Hello.

Many moons ago, the eUK and eUSA had a tiff. To be as delicate as possible, the issue came when the eUK, taking part in a training war with Hungary, allowed the Hungarian war machine to move through Scotland and into Northern America in exchange for a Q5 Hospital. That was the opening of a World War that culminated in America being wiped down to one region, and many of their allies being removed from the map altogether.

The eUK and eUSA were previously allies, but after relations disintergrated, all of that happened, as the short story reads.

The eUK and eUSA went their seperate ways, becoming enemies and doing all the things enemies do. They had fights, we were Britfags and they were Amerifags (and some of us, like GLaDOS were both).

But then, along came PANAM. After a period of neutrality, the eUK decided we should join PANAM. It made sense, after all - neutral countries never really last for long, and PANAM held some of our best Phoenix allies in countries such as France, Brazil, Argentina and Russia.

It seems, though, that some people have forgotten we joined PANAM, and not just those long-standing allies. Recent comments in a House of Commons debate have included that 'we aren't ready to commit in the fight between the USA and Indonesia'.

That isn't a question, for me. The eUK has joined PANAM and whether we have relations with Indonesia or not, that does not mean we can forget a PANAM ally. Forget the past - we now have to march into the future, and that future is one that we have decided upon, and one that includes the eUSA, our PANAM ally.

I, as an eUK Congressman, will push for an eUSA MPP whenever the opportunity presents itself - it's how I feel. We should, first and foremost, be loyal to our allies, and then look after relations other than that. But to have to choose between America and Indonesia is not a question for me.

UK! America! PANAM!
