As I approach the upcoming Congress election, I approach it with three things in mind primarily. First though, some of my key ePeen credentials;

Part 1 : Activity in the House of Commoners Commons

I've been told by many that in the House of Commons, a large majority of posts are made by jamesw. This means that in this current time, a large number of MP's aren't really getting involved. This is a problem.

We're facing some really big decisions, and with MP's slowly gaining more influence in the eUK, alot is going to be falling at the feet of the HoC. Alliance decisions, tax changes and more will have a lasting impact on our country, so really, they need to be made right - and this requires an active Congress exploring all options and not depending on a few active players to push forward discussion.

If you elect me, you are gonna be getting an active, experienced and vocal Congressmen to help guide the country in times ahead.


Now let's get some activity in the House.

Part 2 : More Information To You

I dont suggest we leak information, but what I do want to do more of is giving you, the public (or whoever you are), information on the state of the eUK and the changes being made, and why. The Prime Minister makes regular announcements in the forums, and all of his Ministers make reports on their actions. That's fine, but it isn't always translated off the forum into basic and easy to understand articles. I'll push for the public to get more information, starting with my own regular articles and aiding to get more past debates from the House of Commons Sensitive section, into the public domain.

Part 3 : Getting This Alliance Business Done and Dusted

War drives eRepublik - socially and economically. The different alliances have wars against each other. Therefore, it's my belief that we need to get involved. Neutrality is okay for a short time, but now, it's getting to be crucial that we make a decision.

The decision, however, will not be easy. I personally will be suggesting that PANAM, as an alliance, is the favourable option for the eUK. That said, Serbia are a great friend of the eUK, and with them sitting comfortably inside the eUK as per the rental deal, could we be involved in its direct rival alliance?

I am in favour of PANAM, but whatever we do, Serbia must be taken into account. If Serbia are happy to remain with us as a PANAM member, and PANAM are happy for us to remain in our arrangement with Serbia, that is the option we should take up.

But even if we were to join NWO, can we please get that decision made in the coming Congress term?
