I know most of you may already know what is IRC, this article is for those who don't have enough information about IRC plus introducing usefull IRC-Channels/Forums and communication places. Please Vote it and Share it with others so everyone can read. Thanks in advanced.



If you've never used IRC before, it can prove to be quite an intimidating means of communication. It seems like everybody uses it and everybody is telling you to be there. But what is it? How can I use it? And why is it worth using it?

What is IRC?
Lots of most interesting and useful activitiy on eRepublik is done on chat, IRC is an abbreviation for Internet Relay Chat. It allows users to communicate in real time either in 'channels' (sometimes referred to as 'rooms') or Private Messages.

How can I use it?
First off, you'll need an IRC client. Some good ones are mIRC and KvIRC (Windows), Colloquy (Mac), XChat (Windows/Linux), and ChatZilla (available as a FireFox add-on or stand-alone with XULRunner). There are also some browser based alternatives, mainly, Mibbit. Most of these clients will have some form of documentation to get you connected to an IRC Server. I'll be providing you with some generic commands that are pretty common across clients.
Once you're in an IRC Client you need to connect, if you haven't done so already. To connect to Rizon the following command usually works: /Server irc.rizon.net + ENTER. Once you are fully connect you may choose a nickname if you haven't been already prompted to do so. Use /Nick NickName. Beware, though, some nicknames are already taken!
Now we're ready to join a channel. You can use /Join #Channel where #Channel is the name of the channel.

Why using IRC?
Well, Nowadays most of the things on eRepublik are done through IRC! so that you can't ignore it if you play eRepublik actively. The biggest benefit is getting to know other people, finding new friends, trading with other people, coordination for battles, getting supply, getting help from eRepublik etc. Many thing you can do...

#List of community run forums, and IRC channels of the nations of the New World.
#eRepublik - Official channel of www.eRepublik.com
#iTrade - Biggest trade channel in eRepublik.
#Mercenaries - Biggest channel for buying and selling damage & supplies.
~There are also another channels which can be useful and you can find them by asking around.

این مقاله رو در مورد آی آر سی، فواید و چگونگی استفاده ازش به دو زبان فارسی و انگلیسی نوشتم، خصوصاً برای تازه وارد ها. بی‌ چون و چرا یکی‌ از راه‌های ارتباطی‌ ایریپابلیک ای آر سی هست. بنظر میرسه که همه ازش استفاده میکنند و به شما میگن که به ای آر سی برید. ولی‌ ای آر سی چی‌ هست؟ چجوری کار می‌کنه؟ و فواید استفاده ازش چی‌ هست؟

ای آر سی چیست؟
بسیاری از کار‌های جذاب در ایریپابلیک در ای آر سی انجام می‌شه. ای آر سی یک برنامه چت هست با روم‌ها و چنل‌های مختلف، و چتِ خصوصی.

چگونگی‌ استفاده از ای آر سی؟
اول از همه شما یک برنامه برای ورود به ای آر سی نیاز دارید. من لیستِ تعدادی از برنامه‌های خوب برای ای آر سی و کد‌های مهم ای آر سی رو براتون در پایین قرار میدم که با استفاده از اونها میتونید واردِ ای آر سی بشین.
