Hello eUK!

Last night (18.01.13), members of the GBDP held a party conference to discuss party policies including Foreign Affairs, Alliances (TWO and CoT), Official government MUs and AIM within the GBDP. Here is a brief summary of the topics we discusse😛

Foreign Affairs:
Irelan😛 We decided that we wish to keep and improve our relations with eIreland, as we feel that they are a country which warrants a peaceful and friendly relationship.
France: We felt that it is appropriate to be wary of the French, because if they gain Picardy and a border with ourselves, as part of a four front war they could be a great danger.
Canada: We want to regain our original border with Canada, with the possibility of expanding.

Alliances:
TWO: We saw fit to continue our membership of TWO as we feel we would be vulnerable to invasion as a neutral nation. We also noted that we must fight for them as well as have them fight for us as they won’t do us any favours if we don’t do them any.
CoT: We want to seek to continue a positive and friendly relationship with CoT. However, we felt that our relationship with TWO should be the priority.

Official MUs:
We all wanted to retain The Legion as an official MU; however some of us felt that it should be a possibility for all non-political MUs as long as they meet certain guidelines. Also, there should be no form of political advertisement after they are given ‘official’ status.

AIM in the GBDP:
We decided to impose no restrictions on members of the AIM in the GBDP, however we want to maintain this party’s independent status and not become an AIM party.
