[GBDP] I'm Running For PP... Again

Day 1,911, 01:28 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

Well... I guess I'm running for party president again. And more importantly, I hope you all vote for me so we can lead the Great British Democratic Party to a brighter future. You will probably be asking why you should vote for me, and I think is the time that I should tell you why.

About Me
I have been playing eRepublik for just over a year now so I have done quite a few things in my eLife including:
- 5x eUK Congressman
- 2x MoHA Volunteer
- 1x GBDP PP
- 1x eUK Ambassador to USA
- 3 Months as Distributor in The Legion
- Dealing 32 million damage for the eUK in a single campaign

As you can guess from some of my above achievements I am an active, hardworking individual who will work in a team. I have also led our party during the last PP term which I believe was a great success so hopefully I can replicate the highlights of the previous term. I don't give up easily so I won't go inactive half way through my term if elected.

Recruitment
Recruitment is something that is heavily important for parties like our. During my last term I grew our party from 14 members to 19 members at the peak. What makes this even more important is that we have grown in active, helping players as well. We need to recruit more active players if we are to have a bigger influence on politics in the eUK.

I have tried out a few recruitment tactics, and while some haven't worked we have found a few tactics which have got us members. I want to continue exploring new ways to get citizens joining our party, while using the successful tactics we have already used to increase member count.

Policies and Party Meetings
This was in trial during my first party president term. According to the feedback I have received, the party meetings are a good way to allow our party to gain new ideas from everyone attending. I want to continue our party meetings and will try to encourage more people to attend them. This gives everyone in the party a voice.

Some people may think that most parties in the eUK stand for similar ideas. I want our party to stand out from the crowd. The idea of party meetings during my last term was to see what our party believes in, and to see whether or not we believe in similar things to other parties. Although this was not completed I would like to continue growing on our policies, and if I lose the election I hope this is the one thing which the new party president continues.

Party Relations
We are not the only party in the eUK. If we do not have good relationships with other parties we will become outsiders and people will begin to hate our members, even if they do nothing wrong. This might sound exaggerated(and it probably is) but I'm sure you can understand how important party relationships are.

Get Everyone Involved
I will try to give everyone a chance to get involved in party politics if possible. We want to create future leaders of our country, and this can only happen if we allow them to take on certain positions. After my next term we could have smarter, more active citizens who will hopefully run for party president or Congress in a month's time.
