[GBDP] A Chat With jny123

Day 1,940, 14:07 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

Six different members of the Great British Democratic Party submitted questions to be asked to one of the candidates for PP, jny123. All candidates had the chance to answer the questions but it was only jny123 who took up the offer and turned up to the meeting. Receiving questions on the spot, with no prior planning, how would jny123 fair...

What is the one thing which must be focused on the most if you are PP, and why? - Question From CheetahCurtis
I think we must improve our awareness. We must make the party something that is valued in national politics because if we do this then we can provide better recruitment and resources for our members. This is a small step for the party but a giant leap for the future.

What is your stance on relations with other parties? - Question From Jamie Carter
We must work to improve them with all, even those lower than us in the rankings. If we are respected by the larger parties then we can make sure we have the ability to get the support for congress and CP elections.

Any parties that need focusing on in particular? - Question From CheetahCurtis
No. We must make sure we do not fall into the trap of siding with the "new" or "old" parties. We must strive forward as a neutral.

How will you improve recruitment policy? - Question From Anonymous
This is something that I believe we must spend a lot of time working on. We were making good progress but with the change in other parties strategies we have been outwitted. We must work together to come up with a new innovative way to get members.

Is bribery something which you believe should be used? - Question From CheetahCurtis
I personally am against this completely as it leaves poorer parties out of the game. I have been talking with a party that has recently adopted bribery as a method and they have worded it in different ways that make it sound ok. We must either find a new innovative way to combat this, or sit back, or surrender our morals and do it ourselves. This is a decision for the party, not me.

What will you do to help new players get involved in the party? - Question From BlobBody
A brilliant topic to be discussed and I'm glad you asked that. The young players of the party are an asset to us. We must ensure they are promoted in the party and given positions to help the party and I hope that one day they all have a chance to see the message saying they are PP. I believe that our party holds something over the others and that is that we stand by our young players. I always involve them in our messages. I always ask for their ideas. We must capitalise on this aspect of our party. Larger parties have blocks in the way for young players, we must work to make sure these blocks do not exist in our party. I will gladly accept any young player who wishes to help me this month into positions of responsibility. My motto for young players is "promotion, responsibility, the future!".

Will anything be done to improve the national reputation of the party? - Question From CheetahCurtis
Yes. As I previously said we must strive to make our party a known name. We must get involved in government, get into the debates and aim for high places. If all our members band together and work to promote each other and the party we could easily have future CPs in our ranks, possibly even future leaders of alliances. We must make sure we can achieve this by building a good reputation and national image, for all of us. "We must go forward into the country, together".

Small steps first. If we get a Congressman, what will be expected of them? - Question From CheetahCurtis
To use their voice granted to them. To promote party policies and ultimately make sure they enjoy themselves. I have served as congress twice in my erep life. I wish I had been more active in the role and got involved more, the 2nd time I served I did and I must say that is possibly the best month I have ever had in the game.

Who will be filling each position with in the party, and would I be remaining as finance officer? - Question From Bob Bloggs
Bob shall remain as finance officer because he is doing such a fine job of it, I believe we must make greater use of our finance though but thats another topic. As for other party positions I haven't put much into it yet. I will accept any applicants to any position and I would like to find everyone a job. I have though about creating departments in the party to maximise the effect we have in the following month, I would love to hear from people what they think on the idea.
