[Freke] Running for CP

While this newspaper has been used as the MoD's main info channel this term, here comes a personal message from me.
I have been encouraged to run for CP on January 5, and I hereby declare: I do. eRepublik-wise I'm a grumpy old fart who returned from two-clicking (and worse) this fall.
The following have accepted to run with me as cabinet for the next term:
Yanisin (NGP) - Prime Minister
Eris Caelestis (TeK) - Minister of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)
Vileskont (TeK) - Minister of Defense (MoD)
Joshua Morrisau (NGP) - Minister of Finance (MoF)
Xibbard (TeK) - Minister of Immigration (MoI)
The upcoming term is not one to give great promises about. A lot of hard work lays ahead of us in terms of stabilizing eNorway and choose a new path of organized and coordinated effort to bring us back on our feet in a number of aspects.
Obstacles may be tried to put in our way to achieve this, but we will be persistant to make eNorway a better place to work, trade, fight and play.
Just to show just how old and grumpy I am, these were my last terms as Country President:
Freke I (June-July 2010) - Elected CP
Acting CP (July-Aug 2010) - Both elected CPs, one PTOer, one nuthead, were impeached
Freke II (Aug-Sep 2010) - Elected CP
Freke III (Sep-Oct 2010) - Elected CP
So my experience comes from another time and a very different game, but I will do my best. Just be prepared for things taking different turns than what you are used to if I am indeed elected CP.

Matbe we should be told somewhat what your plans are regarding "different turns" so we know what we are voting for ?
Mainly reviving arrangements of old that proved to work well. National Budget, a more clear mandate to the government on what can be done without congress approval, better support of newcomers so that they actually stay and remain active after signing up.
All based on the foundations of information and transparency to increase the general knowledge about what goes on and how things work at all times.
Many of these things will take time and discussions, but the work must start now.
Okey, thats all good, I was a bit paranoid and thought maybe you were thinking of changing allies and all that kind of stuff 😛
