Utenriksminister
Minister of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)
This will be a most important position in the government. The MoFA will be in charge of Utenriksdepartementet (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and thus be our link to the outside world. This role also acts as vice president and will have to take charge and lead the nation when the country president is absent, and on a daily basis assists the country president in the administration of other ministries and official agencies. The MoFA is delegate to EDEN and member of eNorway's Security Council.
Project August 2010: Reactivate ambassadors or through other means revive eNorway's relations with other countries and thereby establish a systematic flow to of information on what goes on in the New World. If necessary, propose changes to §4 Lov om Norges ambassadør program.

Norwegian Consulate publishes the newspaper Norwegian Consulate which will be used to publish articles from/about eNorway in other countries.
The MoFA can recruit deputies at his/her own discretion.

Forsvarsminister
Minister of Defense (MoD)
The MoD will have the demanding task of organising our military in the new era of eRepublik Rising. This involves developing combat and deployment strategies for battlefields, reform the organisation and work of Forsvarets Spesialkommando (FSK) and Heimevernet, mobilise civilian troops etc. The MoD has the responsibility of establishing and maintaining education and training programmes for all branches of our armed forces as well as information procedures to make sure all troops are deployed efficiently and correctly equipped in battle situations. The Minister of Defense is delegate to EDEN. The armed forces are regulated by §5 Lov om forsvaret.
Project August 2010: Reform the division and organisation of the Norwegian armed forces. Establish a plan for continuous commander positions which are employed independent of elections and government positions. Consider the establishment/revival of governmental weapon unit companies.

Forsvaret publishes the newspaper Forsvarsnytt which is the number one information point for battle orders and other information to our armed forces.
The MoD can recruit deputies at his/her own discretion. Appointment of commanders and continuous positions is subject to governmental and congressional approval.

Handels- og næringsminister
Minister of Trade and Industry (MoTI)
The MoTI will have an important task in keeping up to date on the trade situation both in Norway as well as on the international market. This ministry is to be a resource for present and future company owners when it comes to choosing which line of products to manufacture, customising, export licenses and pricing. Keeping the overview on what companies exist in eNorway, their activity and who exports to our market are vital tasks as well. The MoTI should advise the government and congress regarding optimal import tax policies to suit our market best and work in cooperation with the MoFA to promote profitable exports for Norwegian companies.
Project August 2010: Analyse the eRepublik Rising market and advise on the development of trade both domestic and abroad. Organise and promote the establishment of businesses in Norway to maintain a healthy job market and product availability.

Innenriksminister
Minister of Home Affairs (MoHA)
The MoHA will work on organising our society with a particular focus on new citizens. The ministry is responsible for informational and educational work to ensure that all citizens are updated on events and competent according to eRepublik game aspects. The ministry administrates two departments: Department of Public Relations and Immigrasjonsverket (see below), and acts as a main hub of information and advice towards Norwegians.
Project August 2010: Review and (re)organise the way newborn citizens are aided and integrated, including newcomer support programmes, national welcome message, etc. Improve and maintain procedures and guidelines for safe acceptance of citizenship requests and integration of immigrants in eNorway.

Statssekretær for hjelpesentralen
Cabinet secretary for citizens' aid
Acts as deputy to Minister of Home Affairs and is responsible for following procedures on immigration and assist newborn citizens to get them well on their way. This includes information and guidance in getting started with the work/train/skill/recreation cycle, change residence, participate actively in society and so forth. Also has responsibility for information towards citizenship applicants according to procedures and/or regulations.

Immigrasjonsverket publishes the newspaper Immigrasjonsbladet which will be a resource of hints and educational articles.

Statssekretær for informasjon
Cabinet secretary for public relations
Acts as deputy to Minister of Home Affairs and is responsible for preparing and publishing articles in the government's main information channels, Norgesnyhetene. An important part of the job is to keep communications active with the rest of the government and as such keep the Norwegian public informed about events and other useful topics at home as well as abroad.

Department of Public Relations publishes the newspaper Norgesnyhetene which is the most important information link between the government and the citizens of eNorway.

Finansminister
Minister of Finance (MoF)
The Minister of Finance has a key task in planning and monitoring national income and expenditure. The MoF is responsible for making a monthly budget and to oversee that the budget is kept or eventually prepare budget revisions. A vital part of the job is to keep the rest of the government as well as the congress informed on the state of national economics and to give advice on tax policies. Last, but not the least, the MoF manages the national bank, including regulation of the Monetary Market according to set policies.
Project August 2010: Revise and establish procedures for monitoring and reporting economical development. Deliver an advisory report to government and congress with recommendations for Monetary Market regulations and NOK currency value.

The Bank of Norway publishes the newspaper The Bank of Norway News which will be used for publishing updates on the national as well as international economical situation as well as give advice to citizens regarding economy.
The appointment of deputies for Ministry of Finance is subject to presidential approval.

All positions require experienced and active people who know their way around eRepublik. A visionary and positive attitude is required for all cabinet members.
