Chers amis,

Le 13 juillet 2012, en plongeant dans l’eau, Filip Mihajlovski (18 ans) s’est brisé la 7ème vertèbre cervicale (Vertèbre C7). Cela a eu pour conséquence qu’il est paralysé de la poitrine jusqu’aux pieds.

Filip a survécu à une longue et compliquée opération. Celle-ci était seulement le début d’un long processus de guérison. Son objectif final est de pouvoir à nouveau marcher.

Après l’opération, il a suivi un programme de réhabilitation au Centre clinique pour les traumatismes médullaires - Socha situé à Ljubljana (Slovénie).

En ce moment, il suit un programme de réhabilitation encore plus intense au Centre Gibanje (également situé à Ljubljana). Depuis l’opération Filip a montré d’énormes progrès.

Jusqu’ aujourd’hui, les fonds soulevés par les donations permettent à Filip de suivre le traitement au Centre Gibanje et couvriront également le début de la prochaine étape. Étant donné que les services de ces centres ainsi que les médicaments ont un coût conséquent. Nous continuons à recueillir des dons. Le compte bancaire est toujours ouvert pour les donations (coordonnées ci-dessous). Il y a également de nombreuses collectes de fonds (via des événements comme des concerts, ...) en Macédoine. Le traitement continue et Filip commence à marcher avec et sans orthèses.

Dear Friends,

On July 13th, 2012, when diving into the water, Filip Mihajlovski (at the age of 1😎 broke his C7 vertebra (seventh cervical vertebra), due to which he has been paralysed from the chest down. Filip survived a long and complicated operation, which was only the beginning of his lengthy recovery process, the final aim of which is for him to get back on his feet. After the operation, a rehabilitation at the Clinical Center for Spinal Injuries – Socha in Ljubljana, Slovenia , and presently he is in an even more intensive rehabilitation program at the Gibanje Center, also in Ljubljana. Over the past period, Filip showed great progress .
The funds that have been so far raised owing to your donations are making Filip’s treatment in the Gibanje Center possible, and will also cover for the beginning of the next step. Since the services at these centers and the necessary medications are quite expensive, we are continuing to raise money from donations. The humanitarian bank account which is still open for donations is given below,and there are a lot of other humanitarian events held in Macedonia.Treatment continues and Filip is now starting to walk with and without orthoses.
