[FOX] Thorfenstur Keep

Day 3,632, 12:17 Published in USA Japan by Hivernal

It's good to remember some of the great literary writers, such as Edgar Allen Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Frank Norris, and numerous others. These are men who were able to create such vivid, powerful, and dark stories that shaped an entire genre, and will last for generations to come. What's more, they are all perfect to enjoy around this time of year. Here's a small poem to help you get in the spirit of Halloween.

Deep in the Bowels
Of Thorfenstur Keep

You hear a strange noise
It sounds like a weep,

The spiders are sneaking
Though skeleton fingers

The rats are all running
The smell of death lingers,

As you turn the corner
You see a strange room

A man at a table
His hair like a broom,

The table in front of him
Looks to be a mess

Wrinkled up papers
Portraits of a woman in a dress,

As you approach
The man turns around

Meeting you with red eyes
A wince and a frown,

He gestures his hand
He calls out a word

Then down comes a box
You’re trapped like a bird,

Deep in the bowels
Of Thorfenstur Keep

You hear a strange noise
It sounds like a weep

But alas! This weep is you
For as you may seek,

There is no escape
From Thorfenstur Keep.
