Resistance War in Latgale
Today, at 23.55 eRepublik time, Finnish forces began a resistance war in Finnish-owned region called Latgale. In the beginning of the campaign, we told Finland would liberate Latgale, which we now do. This is a gesture of good will from the Finnish government. Even though some say so, we're not imperialists. We promised we'd give back Latgale, and here you have it.
As for Zemgale, true, we're not giving it back, not yet. We want to see more friendly relations with Latvia before we give it back. It's a simple fact that we won the war, and Zemgale now belongs to us. We understand your feelings, and we sympathize, but understand this: If you continue the policy of non-negotiation and PTO attempts, our response will be harsh, and any attempts to attack us will be met with equal or greater force.
All Latvians living in Finland are free to participate in the liberation of the region. Once there, push the red button to free the region. If you live in a region other than Latgale, it's preferable you move to Latgale so you don't need another moving ticket to move back to Latvia once the region is liberated.

@Sossu: Latgalen palautus oli harkittu päätös hallitukselta ja eduskunnalta, siitä on meille enemmän haittaa kuin hyötyä. Zemgalen me pidämme niin pitkään, kuin parhaaksi näemme. Siitä ei olla luopumassa, eikä sen luovuttamisesta ole keskusteltu.
I really wonder what kind of people are working in PR in Finland. You are waiting more friendly relations with country you robbed. Thats kinda funny, isn't it? I really hope that you'll waiting these better relations forever. And remember, one way or another you will lose Zemgale region.

Minusta Suomen on turha murehtia, vaikuttaako toimintamme heikolta vai ei, ainakaan latvialaisten ynnä muiden baltialaisten silmissä. Sen verran on niiden yläpuolella.
tl;dr
Do you really think that eLatvians will negotiate with you after you concered Zemgale. Just because you see something better doesnt you have to take it by force.
