Hello Feds!!

During my campaign I mentioned I would be bringing back the mentor program. Now that the congressional push is over I would like to announce it’s return!


With all the changes the game goes through as well as the myriad of complexities present it is immensely helpful to newer players to get some guidance and tips from the older players. This is reflected to some extent in the tutorials and supply programs out there however in many cases direct assistance can be needed, and in all cases it is even better. The program saw some difficulties during the time DLS ran it months and months ago, however I feel it deserves a return. With Dark Apollo at the helm and an already excited set of older players it will get the best shot it has at succeeding and can help out some newer players in the process.

Rolled into the program is more than just learning the basics of the game; being able to state where you are most interested in shadowing new players get a deeper look into how the meta-game functions. With being able to learn more about congress, a specific department, or any other aspect, new players have a great chance to kickstart their e-career. Even returning players are encouraged to participate if needed. I encourage all interested Mentors to apply to help and I highly recommend all new players check it out.


Lastly we will be making an optional proof of knowledge quiz for the different fields of the game you can be mentored in. These quizzes will provide rewards to mentees who pass and mentors who get several mentees to pass. They are all optional but along with some tangible rewards other things like ribbons and such will be rewarded much the same as a certificate. Mentors and new people (regardless of being a mentee) will be featured in the weekly paper as well.
